Actually the major objection was that it's a children's game (as in almost exclusively marketed to children) and it has "the violence" (excuse me as I dust myself off and pick myself up off the floor I was rolling on, laughing my ass off). I like Mojang/Microsoft's response

It's the same thing as those church organizations (not bashing religion here. It just happens that at least in America, the "Christian" organizations are the ones that do this most often. Blame them. I happen to like the Abrahamic religions as written in their holy books) in the USA going "Pong is Vidjamagameee. Is make violent shootings! BAN BAN BAN!"

I see stuff like this, shake my head at those poor unfortunate souls (goddamnit Ursula. Why that song have to be so catchy?), and then laugh.
*Sings in a very bad opera voice*

POOR UNFORTUNATE SOULS!!!!!

It isn't an argument, it is just related.
In the context of this particular discussion, it isn't an argument. However that tactic has been used before, and keeps being trotted out in the great anger germ war symbiotic growth about objectification of women. The obvious intent is to try and make men see what women are talking about when they say this stuff is degrading by gender-reversing it.

True

False, the average human is average :p But an average human is an idiot by our standard. Like how we would be idiots by Stephen Hawking's standards

for some reason I remembered a Einstein quote here, "The difference between genius and stupidity is that genius has its limits." Not sure how my mind came up with that now of all times, but it did.

...I don't really understand, can you say that in layman's terms? Or at least Shakespearian?

Since when is Shakespearian even English? Assuming you are serious here, sex impluses take over everything, no matter how much we possibly do not what them to, as the impulses have had 700 million years worth of tuning

Personally, I just thought the image was funny. Some sort of Family Guy/South Park Character maybe. DICKSON DICKMAN, SEXUALLY INAPPROPRIATE HERO FROM THE 69 AND A HALFTH UNIVERSE

Herd mentality. When taken in groups, most of us are only as effectively smart as the dumbest member of that group.
If you can separate them out and actually talk to them, most people aren't idiots. They may not be geniuses, but they also aren't as dumb as they usually act through a combination of laziness and the mind-dampening effect of the herd.

Plus people like ranting about things they know nothing about (TBH, I too tend to do that)

Together with media on both sides ****ing this up, this is the reason gay marriage is still having to fight, weed is not even legal for medical use in some states(will leave out debates of rec use for another time, as it is not just caused by this), and the sad, sad number of people that go "Kill all the Mooslims before they kill us! And if *insert terror org. here* kill the Mooslims, we would already be over there!" despite the fact that *terror org. here* often kill and abuse people there, no matter the religion. Agree the above, no religion is innocent of doing this, just it is mostly "Christian" here in the USA

Again with my weird brain, anyone know the book Anthem? because it is the herd mentality taken to a extreme

Thy mind and mine hath the condition of being quite disposed to focusing on sexual matters nigh to the exclusion of aught else.

I think. I haven't flexed my early modern English skills in a long time.

Still don't see how this counts as English, but whatever, hate the English language more as I learn about it so I guess I am pretty bias:p

I'm hyperlexic, and a writer. Which means that not only do I have an instinctual grasp of language, I actually use it quite often, and school myself on all sorts of linguistic matters...

I hate English too. Though in the case of The Bard? It's both hundreds of years old (living languages evolve at a noticable pace), AND on the other side of the American/British schism. Blame Webster and his contemporaries for that one. To make matters worse, it's in the transition period between Middle English and Modern English. If you think Shakspeare is bad? Try reading Chaucer's Canterbury Tales (If you want something slightly easier try Le Morte d'Arthur) sometime.

Well, hey, sign me up. I don't care what a girl's packing in her pants as long as she's cute and way smarter than a rock. And that's my take on LGBT in general.

In any case, that Turkish thing is pretty pointless, and for a good reason. Humanity has been killing stuff for food, protection, and competition ever since we were just hairy apes that could stand upright longer.

So now the strategy is going off topic in areas of my personal inclination (LGBT and writing). Tricksy, you people are.

*Realizes he has been part of like three pages of slightly to extremely off topicness*
...crap
*hides in shame*
