So why not fight back and maybe you will learn something. Maybe you will get a taste for challenges... maybe you will be a huge frick'n gold starship.
There's a surface quarry program on the CC forums, you could check that out, it's good for basalt. Unless you're someone who doesn't like to use other's programs, which I understand.

Oh no... I just went out exploring looking for valcones to harvest for basalt and found this one between my old base and my current porject the mothership.
