I thought you could automate turbines with AE? And a BC gate to order one crafted when the one inside the turbine dies. Unless you're not using AE, which explains it perfectly.

Unfortunately that turned out to be a DireDerp and doesn't actually work (the turbine does not interface with any sort of inventory manipulation, not even turtles).
