Mods that fit a Steampunk or Gaslight theme

Nothing wrong with being dark or dreery... anyone who follows me on any platform which is none minecraft related (Tumblr, Twitter, etc.) knows that I am very dark sometimes... BUT NOT DARK ENOUGH TO MAKE PEOPLE NEED BLOOD TO CRAFT WOOD PLANKS!
These have probably been said already, but oh well. Flaxbeard's Steam Power, Railcraft, and GregTech all have great steam stuff.
So, when is someone going to mention this was a post/thread from 2013?

This is one of those threads that really don't have a time limit. The ideas are still sound even if a few of the mods have changed.
I would love to see a complete mod pack and corresponding texture pack that tweaks everything to fit the steam punk era. It would look awesome I am sure, but would need to be a bit creative as not all the mods fit exactly right.

XD i was just looking for mods for something steampunk im working on and came along this thread and did a post to it.
It's not like it's a necro, because most of the posts are on-topic and adding useful information
Someone needs to make an actual modpack out of all this stuff. i have yet to find any steampunk modpacks but we have all the mods to put one together

If you want RedPower tubes but don't want to be stuck with Eloraam's closed source and inconsistent free time, I can't recommend BluePower enough. Its tubes are machine-for-machine identical to RedPower's, and it's open-source.
I was going to mention Flaxbeards as well. Everything is steam based. No items that suggest computerization or electronics at all.
