I suck at quoting. Sorry. Dartcraft. I see now your statement closed by referencing IC2/GT.

Ah. When I started messing with it on my world, I was already pretty heavily into RotaryCraft and had nerfed everything down, so I don't know how it is on standard configs just starting out.

Ladies, ladies. Cool people just boring machine a mystcraft single biome extreme hills age.

Mystcraft age create lag :/ and you don't always get to choose the mining world your server plays in

but yea boring machine.... x16 ;)

Not a big fan of trucking stuff around, but I know it adds complexity and in many ways realism and its balanced. I like the farms, just that MFR is so much easier and efficient. Too easy and efficient. The tree breeding really at this point is useless except for flair or personal hobby. Bees atleast can serve so many purposes and with extra bees, it won't fall the way of breeding trees.
Tree breeding useless?
Try building a wooden mansion without it and with it and see how useful it is, it may give gains for ee farms that some people ignore, but functionality as decoration is amazing.

Railcraft is woefully underutilized at least by youtubers. Other than the tanks and boilers of course. But theres no more flashy method of transporting stuff than by carts. Unless you are using Traincraft which is basically Railcraft in fancy clothes. I plan on using carts and trains liberally with my current world. No tesseracts for anything but power transfer, if that.
Railcraft has been my main tech mod since 1.5. It can do everything, and IMO much better than the rest.
Its alright for someone with a space-time continuum warping sled to tell the rest of us we can't call something OP;)
I laughed.

I think natura and bop gotcha covered with 100000000000000 less time required to get said wood.

I imagine... and ill be fair... forestry really adds something that takes time to accomplish.

I have always really liked forestry multifarms. I just love the way that you can have one quadrant be devoted to peat in order to make the whole farm self sufficient. The ash obtained from burning the peat in a peat fired engine also helps to make your apatite go further. I thought it was a really clever design and I don't think Sengir got nearly enough credit for it to be honest. I know a lot of people didn't/don't like it, and I'm not trying to change anyone's mind here.

It was a creative idea... the reason I did peat support once and never again is that the entire peat process was longer than anything else in the mod. Like ridiculously long and borderline stupid. It provided almost no power, took forever to attain, and forever to get ash from.

My big thing with Forestry farms was that they used multiple non-renewable resources in addition to power to automate a process that is completely renewable with every other farming method, including TC golems and VANILLA. You were just throwing resources down the drain.
