I find flaxbeard quite useful for cooking ... because it saves a good deal of coal, and the rock smasher are nice to process the stuff I have harvested with my silk touch pick. Additionally they take care of the ex nihilo processing.

Curious I have a bunch of enchanted tools, weapons, and armour from mob farms. Is there a way to disenchant them? Something with botania maybe? Or am I just wasting space.

You can save them for magical wood to make galgadorian metal. You needs tons of it later, so stockpile now.

You can take off enchant to the book, vanila book. Using Pneumaticraft.
If item enchanted with 3 enchants - you need 3 book, one book for one enchant.

What flower from botania are the best to generete power ?

- lava flower ?
-Coal /charcoal flower ?
-exp flower ?
-food ( bread, other not too hard food to craft) flower ?
I need stable incoming of mana so i can make more redstone / glowstone and finaly end few quest and go to the moon :D
I've only recently set It up but the Entropinnyum flower is amazing in this pack cause all the tnt drops from the creepers, if you have a mob farm set up it can produce crazy amounts of mana (if automated with Steve's factory manager) only downside is, is you need a decent mana spreader to keep up with the the flower otherwise... BOOM! Here's some screen shots if you want - yes there is a lot going on

an easy way to automate cobble is to use the block breakers from open blocks all you need is a redstone signal (like a redstone clock from open blocks)
all you need is a diamond pickaxe (easy if you have a mob farm)

I've found a bug... you cant auto craft cakes with AE, I believe its because when you craft the cake it leaves the spider egg shell in the crafting bench, maybe AE doesn't like that and spits the dummy, the game doesn't crash but you get kicked out of the AE terminal
Also I have a big complaint about the crafting recipe for the galaticraft fan crafting component, I get that is meant to be a grind but when you need 300 redstone and 160 Iron ingots for a single crafting component is when I start to cheat the items in... way to much effort for nothing...

I see it pretty much like @felinoel .. Flaxbeard must be good for something. And the setup I have now allows me to process ex nihilo (using an open blocks block placer) in an automatic way, as well as the auto cobble gen (along with making delicious and very nutrious smoked salmon).
All I have to do is switch the piston to a sticky piston and throw around some levers to stop or start the redstone clocks.

I have to admit I am not a big fan of mobfarms. I have done that excessively in several other modpacks and my first thought here was "oh no ... not again ... yuck!"
I find it horribly boring to always go down the same paths and reproduce the same old stuff again and again, so I will try avoiding a mob farm for as long as possible.

if you don't use the flash boiler with the screw and lava, 1 coal makes 3 cobble :/

actually I've used flaxbeards a lot for making brass (probably 1000 by now, I wish I could automate but sadly nothing can) also I agree with you on the mobfarm thing but I decided to do it a little differently making it into a drop to there death farm on diamond spikes that way I get xp and rare drops like redstone and glowstone from witches and spider eggs for making cake =3

Well apart from that flax stuff I have yet not a real use for brass. Some automation might come along in one of the future releases, the flax guys said they are working on something. So for now is flashboiled cobble, Sand and dust (last one for clay), and tasty fish. And most of the setup has been built from questrewards or accumulated items during the questline.

Well different approach, same problem ... a mob farm is a mob farm is a mob farm ;)
I cannot see them anymore.

Argh, attempts to make a grassy field outside my base are being foiled by both of my TiCon shovels getting luck upon their first level up. Does a way exist for me to scrub Fortune off these things so i can put my Silky Jewel on them, or am i gonna have to grind another one up?

Why are you needing silk touch? Just make a dirt path up to the surface and let it grow?

i'd prefer not to wreck the doors that keep all the nasties out in order to give the grass a path to the outside, mostly

Do what I did, make it one high, most mobs aren't that short.

lol and when I wrote let it grow I checked youtube and found this...
