So now that we need blood for galg, has anyone come up with a way to fully automate it? Gates don't appear to detect smeltery capacities, and you need some way to keep a bit of liquid in there. I can only think of constantly pumping a little bit in on one side while draining it on the other, but I feel like there's probably a more efficient way.

So I am still on 1.2.5... But my micro blocked Tyrian Blocks are continuously changing to micro blocked Obsidian Blocks if I relog... It seems to appear in a specific chunk and I noticed that the two items have the same identity numbers, does anyone know how to fix this issue? Thanks in advance!

EDIT: Nevermind, did some further research here in the forum... A glitch, although I am not on a server

I dunno. My game keeps crashing from all of the sub-rate mods added into this pack, like whatever mod adds the food journal, my game crashes when I open it. When I tried the new 1.2.6 map, my game would crash each time I broke a block. This latest beta may have updated recipes (which is what I updated for) but I really wish karma would quit messing with what mods are in the pack. it's creating alot of problems.

While playing the beta I noticed something, where I don't know if it's meant to be this way or not:

When you put the "smashed ore" from flaxbeard into the tinkers' construct smeltery you get 1 ingot per smashed ore. When you combine them to "hardened ore" you get less then 2 ingots out of it.
I guess this was meant to make the vat-recipe more useful (so either getting less metall out of it or put it into the vat for getting "real" ore for more metal), but at the moment it pretty much makes itself useless, cause you can simply put the smahed ore inside.

Maybe more useful, when you have a silktouch-pickaxe and collect the hardened ore directly, but for early game it's like a little trap when you not look what gives how much mB of metal ^^

You do know i added only 2 mods in 1.2.6? Delete the InGame Wiki Mod...
hey its me again :'D ive got a problem again, like allways =/

I have a problem with Enviromine again...
when i want to play on the server i open for my sister and myself i get a crash as soon as i join the server

I use Enviromine 1.3.101 because when i use 1.3.96 i get the problem with the authorization again so i switch the 1.3.96 with 1.3.101 in the client as well as on the server,
the server works perfectly fine then tough when i or my sis wants to join the game crashes directly =/

So I'm into pneumaticcraft now and I've built a Pressure Chamber. I wanted to make Raw Hardener with the Hardened Clay, Coal and Double Compressed Cobble recipe. The NEI recipe says I need 1 of every item but the chamber only recognizes the recipe when I put in a full stack of everything and I get only 4 Raw Hardeners out of a full stack. So which of the two recipes is the intended one, one item or one stack per 4 Raw Hardeners?

Ill work on a fix for this.... you are only suppose to need 1 stack of hardened clay, 4 coal, and one compressed cobble

Not sure if it is a bug with the modpack-settings or from ex nihilo (will post in their forum about this, too)

It seems the crucible always keeps 1mB of liquid inside no matter what. So you pretty much always have it blocked and in case of seared bricks/metal you always loose 1 ingot cause it cannot be completed.
Only way to fix it, is to break it and replace it. (not thaaat big of a problem since you only need it in the beginning and later for lava, but bug is bug. ^^)

I had the same issue recently, but have yet to see it happen in my test of 1.2.6 beta. Mind you, I've only emptied the Ex Nihilo crucible of seared stone/grout in that test world.

Was having that problem running 1.1.17. The annoying solution for me was to quit and relog. Worked every time.

I did have a crash related to IGW, but I fixed that and deleted the post. (mind you, IGW did work with 1.2.5, so something with 1.2.6 caused it to start crashing) My original post that you replied to does still stand, and has nothing to do with IGW. I still crash when opening the food journal, and IGW is not installed. My guess is that something I ate it doesn't like.

I mostly finished the automation chain for the new galg blocks (I just need to set up a second laser/drill thingy, but I ran out of room and need to move stuff). It's much nicer on the resources, and I had forgotten that magic wood results were based on the power of the enchant, so with flim flam books it's not as bad as I had thought. The one thing that really holds up the process is the alumite, AE isn't very good with the smeltery, the interface tries to add more than can fit and fails, and there's a lot of time spent waiting for obsidian to melt. I could just smelt up a bunch of blocks in advance, or change the recipe to do multiple blocks at once, but it's still a kink in the chain. Still wishing there was a more advanced style recipe, the whole process only requires a couple items from a single powered machine.

Anyone knows, if in the 1.2.6 Version there are any overground-blaze-spawners or are they only in the deepest dungeons and nether now?

Getting a lot of bugs in the industrial revolution quest page. The "Factories!" quest completed when I turned in "Tier 1" even though I never had a factory, it's very strange because the quest was unlocked before that and wasn't completed until I turned in the other quest, which only rewarded some bars and ore. Tier 2 was mostly completed when it unlocked even though I never had a Purification Chamber or Crusher, I only had to build the Electrolytic Separator to finish it. Same thing with Tier 3, I never built or had a Salination Chamber, Salination Valve, Chemical Injection Chamber, or a Chemical Infuser, yet all those steps were completed, and this quest asks for an Electrolytic Separator again even though you have to have one to complete the previous quest. The "Lava Pumping" quest doesn't recognize the crafted Electric Pump, I had to force complete it with the OP book.

That's about as far as I've gotten tonight.

While not a "bug" the "Foundations" quest near the beginning is a crafting quest, which is a bit annoying because it doesn't detect autocrafting. I honestly just made 4 with my AE system and used the HQM OP book to force complete it, I really did not feel like telling the system to only build all the parts and then manually pulling out and crafting them. Same deal with the "Advancements in Tech" quest under Pressurization, it's a crafting task for 16 Advanced PCBs, which is ridiculous, I'm still at 0/16 even though I've probably made 10 or so in my AE. I suppose it would be worse if they were detection quests at those numbers, but I don't see need for them to be so high, a detection of 1 should be adequate, it's not like they have good rewards.

I don't know about environmine but for the battlemusic, I just deleted the BlastOff.zip in \BlastOff\minecraft\battlemusic
To be honest the battle music is no issue, it is just one button, but the enviromine settings are a horror and a mess, mostly because it takes me ten to twenty minutes to figure out where those settings are every time.

Remove Justanotherspawner.jar and justanotherspawnercompat.jar
How come spawner pieces no longer drop when you break spawners?

I will try to contact the mod author about it :) i dont like Ironchest mod because its overused :(
Some things are overused for a reason, I had assumed that the only reason you weren't using it was because it wasn't realistic...

The problem with this way of thinking:
If all modpack-creators would think like that, we would have like 100 modpacks, which pretty much all play the exact same way because everyone would use the exact same mods :p
Except... it is a chests mod. All it does is add chests. It has nothing to do with gameplay or anything like that, if all modpacks used Thaumcraft or Millenaire that is different because those are actual gameplay content mods and are a completely different kind of mod than this one. This one is a utility mod, Millenaire is a gameplay mod.

True, but we're talking about a mod that adds chests here. Extremely simple concept with basic functionality, it can only really be done so many ways. The most that can really be changed is the recipes and the amount of slots. I have never seen a scrolling inventory work with invtweaks and you are probably never going to unless the invtweaks author changes something. You can contact the extended chests author all you like, there is nothing he can really do.
Exactly.

Found an inconsistency in the 1.2.6 beta. Grout in a vat goes 1 grout -> 1 brick. Grout in a smeltery goes 1 grout -> 1 brick. Grout in an Ex Nihilo crucible with faucet + casting table goes 1 grout -> 2 bricks.
I think that might be on purpose?

With the new changes, I'd say that the new recipes eat through osmium WAY too much, especially through the mekanism quest line. What killed me was that each steel casing takes 2 blocks of it, on top of the 1 block used in the galg recipe. That comes up to 88 osmium bars total to complete the quest for 4 steel casings, whereas the other more common metals like tin only used like 16. Osmium rarity is probably in-between things like tin/aluminum and emerald/diamond yet it's being used like iron now. I'm thinking rather than just guessing or asking what we have in surplus, you should do some actual math here and figure out how much metal you put into the world (in ratios), and how much metal your new recipes and quest lines take out of the world. You shouldn't rely on us to do your balance testing for you, and this is still not balanced.
