I hate xycraft blocks.
I hate xycraft blocks.
I'm not sure how I like your base, aside from the amazing simple design, the quality pictures, the patterns, and the way you made the inside look a lot bigger than the outside! But other than that, I'm not sure why I like it.
Here's for updates!
Well thanks! Xycraft stuff is really awkward to work with. I do like the saturated colors in a few respects, but they can really throw a design out of wack if you dont take the brightness into mind. Wasn't able to really hop on this weekend, but here's hoping i can get some more work done soonIt may be square, but that is definitely one of the best uses of xycrorium i've ever seen.
One strike of lighting, and it's all gone. Be carful.Well I have been working on a tree house (still Wip) in ftb for a week (as they are what I am good at make) and have found that there too many mobs in the red wood forest so to counter this I decided to live in the trees.

I wish my fps hit 4...Today I decided to take one of those Oaks down with my Axe of the stream. It took 25 minutes, dropped my fps down to 4 and yielded a half chest of log stacks, a few stacks of saplings and 44 apples. Those trees are no joke

D-D-D-DROP THE FPS.I wish my fps hit 4...
Noo...D-D-D-DROP THE FPS.
AND THE BASS.
AND THE UBER.
Diggin' the tree base, man.
Thank guys very much. I have in fact thought about that but the redwood forest was so close to a village and jungle that had to stay and plus I hate planting trees and hoping that become the right size and shape. As for the home being one big room as of now will change as I move forward as there are many more trees and I like to keep magic and tech separated until both are further studied.Have you tried other trees?
I know there's a super-oak tree, or some name like that, found in plains.
There's a rubber tree in RP2, they don't look nice but they seem suitable for treehouses.
And the possibilities are endless when you make your own tree!
Or, like you did here, you can connect multiple trees together, but instead of one big house, multiple small houses attached with bridges. Though your treehouse is a nice start, it looks very "forced". It needs much more light, several more, and larger windows, and a removal of some cobblestone
You did do a very good job on not making it look awkward from the bottom, though
EDIT: Wait...the cobblestone is on the ground! Hahaha, an underground root network would be awesome! It can be all industrial-looking, but with vines and logs running around the place randomly!
I have an idea for my next build *celebrates*
I got it. And Colony Drops are a pretty common thing in Sci-Fi. Which is why if I ever was a evil overlord IN SPACE! I would build all my bases deep in the ground on wasteland planets, because low orbit colonies tend to drop like mayflies when wars break out.Apparently I am the only one in this site that hasn't played Mass Effect yet.
And nobody here plays TF2 and got the DROP THE UBER.
