Learn Gregtech Hardcore Questing Mode Pack

Today I bring to you a new HQM pack centered around learning GT.

This is a mod pack meant to help teach you about Gregtech. This pack contains minimal mods other than Gregtech so you can concentrate more on learning than anything else.

Cool. Adding it to my list :) Gregtech has always interested me but its looked so complicated so this should be very cool :)

One issue: the stone tools are severely nerfed, due to an interaction between PFAA and Gregtech. In 1.7.2, this is automatically resolved, but in 1.6.4, you probably should set smallerStoneToolDurability to "false" in the Gregtech.cfg and rely on the PFAA nerf.

Don't we get a HQM book on start? If not how to get it?

I would like to add WAILA (all those new worldgen!!!!) and some form of minimap to guide me with biome names and terrain to the pack? So, serious Will it break your intended progression to add them both?

Waila I will add and a minimap mod I am not sure of yet.[DOUBLEPOST=1405774015][/DOUBLEPOST]I just realized a big problem with the pack. Fix will be posted soon.

I'm going to add a map mod in, and see how it goes.

Problem with the pack? I just spawned into a lovely world with lots of beautiful, never-before seen ores..... Should I continue playing? Or wait for next thursday's fix? :(

The fix can be pushed into you Instance through a config download (no perms needed for that)

FIX:
  1. DOWNLOAD http://www.mediafire.com/download/bjblx77bug1aaal/config.zip
  2. Unzip the config
  3. Go to the FTB Launcher
  4. Go to options
  5. Copy the install folder directory and paste it into your finder
  6. Find Folder Labeld LearnGregtech and open it
  7. In that folder open the minecraft folder
  8. In that folder delete the config folder and replace it with my supplied folder.
FIX CONTAINS: Important HQM fixes, Stone tool fix.

Thank you to @noogenesis for pointing out the stone tool problem!
