I've tried for the past three hours to just get the launcher working. I've uninstalled and reinstalled Java and FTB so many times I think I could do it blindfolded. I know this issue thread has been closed to its primary issue but hopefully I can be a pain and ask for a little help in it. I need my FTB Fix!

You have not completed the guide correctly, for the follow reasons:
Outdated Java, line 3: [21:03:40] [INFO] LaunchFrame.main:189: Java version: 1.7.0_21

Your post does not belong on this thread, as you are not experiencing an issue with your launcher connecting to the server.
Once the game has launched and FML has loaded mods into Minecraft, you will not be having launcher issues. The launcher has done its job, and launched Minecraft.
Line 96 indicates that this is the case for you.

My ftb launcher just stopped working this morning i have uninstalled it and reinstalled it but i did not work it keeps giving me IOException, minecraft servers might be down. Check @help.mojang.com and then Login failed and gives me a option to play offline

I am getting the same thing. Worked fine last night but suddenly today nothing. Rebooted and reinstalled, but still cannot connect.

help.mojang.com says the authentication servers are up and running with no problems.

I was trying to join a friends private server (with no whitelist) but ftb kept exiting out. Even when i didn't try to join it still exited so I'm guessing after a certain amount of time it crashes. I'm using the modpack Horizons. I tried reinstalling it and it didn't work. My other modpacks work like Direwolf20 1.5.2
