I'm torn on Aluminum/Aluminium - the British chemist that identified it named it "Aluminum", along the same linguistic lines as "Platinum", "Molybdenum" etc., but the international chemistry governing body changed it to "Aluminium". By habit I use the international name, but I have no objection to the original British name that the Americans still use.

Since 1993 Aluminum and Aluminium are accepted. So you can call it however you want. But since it is followed by Gallium, Indium and Thallium it makes more sense to call it Aluminium, since Gallum, Indum and Thallum sounds kinda strange.

And well I use the time until the next pack comes out to test some of the newer mods. The 1.5.2 Pack and propably even more so the 1.6 pack will contain some new mods which i want to test before, so I can decide whether I want to play with them or not.

In a few years when we enter the graphene age almost everything will be made from carbon, no one will care how to pronounce or spell aluminwhatever ;)

Probably not. Aluminum is something of a super-metal, and it represents a major stage in human industrialization to have it.

Working with some of these things I doubt it. And I doubt the few years and that it will replace aluminium, aluminium is way too common on our planet to ignore it (actually it is more common than carbon, so well why not use it, and it is the most common metall on the surface and only beaten by silizium and oxygen, while carbon is as rare as titanium or vanadium).

You are^^. It isn't that hard to get MultiMC and build a 1.5.2 Instance with the latest Forge-Build^^.

France is pretty easy too.

HEY!
I live in france!
And I would defend the place but... Most of the stereotypes are true.
So true.

carbon is as rare as titanium or vanadium..
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carbon

"Carbon is the 15th most abundant element in the Earth's crust, and the fourth most abundant element in the universe by mass after hydrogen, helium, and oxygen. It is present in all known life forms, and in the human body carbon is the second most abundant element by mass (about 18.5%) after oxygen."

your efforts to sound witty are lost on most of these low quality carbon lifeforms. Try ED, no carbon in him
If Guswut was still alive I would put forward a theory that he is a silicon-based life form.
Of course, everyone knows that Blobs are made essentially of water and contain nearly no carbon.
