I forgot to mention the nether horn didn't I, my bad.[DOUBLEPOST=1370315868][/DOUBLEPOST]
I chose a nether horn instead.
YEah, we would need that.
Final Recipe:
Breed Phantasmal and Tungsten Bee together to get the Shiny Bee (which produces Shiny Ingots).
Put 4 Shiny Princesses in the corners of an Infusion Altar with 4 Nether Horns on the middle sides and a Dragon Egg in the Middle.
This will require 100 Praecantatio, 100 Aura, 100 Ignis, 100 Solum, and 100 Aqua.
You will then get one Shard of a Certus Bee.
Then Combine 9 of these in a new machine, the Bee Assembler, which requires 4 Fusion Reactors, 4 Matter Fabricators, and one Shard of a Certus Bee.
Then you have your Certus Bee.

I would worship Cj if he expanded his idea of steam as a power source. The boilers rock, but the method of converting them to usable energy is pretty blah. The buildcraft style engines are cute, but after awhile they get boring. I want things like this
Stott_Park_Bobbin_Mill_Steam_Engine.jpg
to convert my steam. Make it multiblock, have some moving parts, let it be upgradeable to be more efficient and/or produce more power. Also make it require some maintenance periodically like the steam turbine, leather for belts, occasional bearing replacement, lubrication of some sort (grease rendered from animal/zombie meat or buildcraft oil).

I would also love something to speed up the furnaces.

This:
Grazebrook_Beam_Engine.jpg

was designed to compress air for blast furnaces among other things. It ,like my suggestion above would be multiblock, but it could boost the smelting speeds of the furnaces at the expense of higher fuel consumption for the blast furnace and material consumption for the coke ovens. Last item I'd like is a simple steam whistle with a gui that could control when it goes off so you would have an alarm like dusk/dawn as well as controlling the radius that it would be audible.

Last thing is a small detail that would be more atmospheric, some sound effects for the boilers and engines. The boiler could creak and ping like a typical pressurized device maybe even a small hiss or whistle to simulate a slightly less than airtight seam. The engines should hiss/whistle occasionally as they works. Not exactly huge things but no idea how hard it would be to implement as I have no idea how to code but would still be cool nonetheless.

Perfect, now it's a practical bee.

I would get Sengir to bring back the old farms and un-nerf all the Forestry recipes.

Edit: Or maybe diamond power pipes and void power pipes in Buildcraft. (Diamond power pipes have one clear side. They send this side exactly as much power as it requests, and split the remaining power among the other sides. As shown here, you can use one together with a "pipe is almost full" gate condition to make an energy storage device.)

You know what? I've come around on these farms. I think they've been tweaked to where they're good. And weirdly, they seem to function really well with trickle power.

Con Player into adding a priority block into IC².
a) First try to fulfill every demand in output A, then in output B, finally in output C.
b) If the added demanded input for output A-C can be fulfilled by input D alone, then close of input E+F, else allow E and finally F to produce energy.
(Configurable which side is input and which is output, and be able to configure the priorities.)

creepers that when explode do not destroy any of the dropped blocks. so when a creeper explodes, it creates an explosion, but you can pick up all the blocks again and fill up the hole.
I know someone once made this for forgecraft, but it never got released.

a more advanced quarry for buildcraft. one which you can right click on and it opens an interface, with information about the quarry like how big it is, how much power it's using, how deep it is, how far it is and maybe even how long it needs to finish.
and with the advanced quarry, you could set it's size without having to use landmarks, so you just place it down, and set the size in the quarry interface itself.
also have an option for the quarry to only mine ores, and leave the grass, dirt, stone, sand, gravel, basalt and marble. or maybe have it so you can tell the quarry what blocks to leave. and with that also an option for the quarry to silk touch the ores, and with this all ofcourse a higher power cost, and maybe for example that you need to give the quarry an enchanted book with silk touch or something.

and another buildcraft suggestion, a gate with a redstone timer function, like the RP2 timer.

Actually, it has been - check out CreeperCollateral (I think thats the name of it). Alternatively, you can turn on Environmentally Friendly Creepers in the CodeChickenCore config, although this makes creeper explosions not blow up blocks in the first place.

I found a download at http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic...mod-creeper-collateral-get-those-blocks-back/
sadly it's 1.5.2 and not 1.4.7
and yea, you could also change the gamerule ingame to disable explosion damage, but it's just a bit too easy like that...
