This seems like something that could be convenient, but also very very buggy.

Personally, I'd like to see a buff on the output contents of Macerators. Since we have Pulverizors we can get more bang for your buck. Even though IC2 is my favorite mod, mods like GT, TE, and others are coming out with far more efficient ways to turn ores into ingots.

Well, gates are nice. I like the control they add. It's not that great of an improvement, since vanilla hoppers work with them.
I'd rather have BuildCraft step up their game and make wooden pipes that don't require redstone engines.
IC2 machines can be powered by UE as well. That's kind of the whole point of UE.GregTech automatic machines have been doing this for ages.
AND they can be powered by UE.
So eh, nothing too special.
I completely disagree with you on every idea that went through your mind when writing that. IC2 is an amazing mod, and sometimes I don't want GT, sometimes I do. IC2 is a core mod in nearly any modpack, because people love it. Yes, it is obsolete compared to TE machines, but it's nostalgic, and reminds people of the old days. It's also my favorite mod.If you don't like GT, then there isn't much point in using IC2 anyway.
Time is precious for everyone. It doesn't matter how you use it, it is still precious. People have lives besides gaming, gaming just happens to be something they enjoy so they do it when they can. Just because they play video games doesn't make their time not matter. Grow up, dude. People have jobs, families, school, whatever they need to take care of. Basically what you are saying is that since someone plays video games, they cannot complain about things taking too long/being tedious, which is a completely illogical way of thinking. More crafting is tedious. Period. More crafting/more materials needed ≠ harder. Personally, I like "hard" mode, because I like crafting, and I like that it makes sense. Some people don't. Understand this and move on.Oh, your time is so precious that you are gaming. And don't impose your folly argument that it's just "tedious" for everyone. Requiring more steps means more space, that means being space efficient, more materials, being cost efficient, and more time, that means you need to have focused goals. We use extra mods not seen in the FTB community because we play because we want to spend time while having hard challenges. And for now, into the MC Modding universe, these are the hardest challenges they have delivered to us, except for making complex build just for the sake of making them (which everyone does in Vanilla or here).
This. This. This. This. This. This.Still doesn't make it okay to just try to one-up other mods in the pack. It would be good if some mod authors would spend more time adding new interesting stuff instead of adding their own 'slighty better' version of what already exists.
y you'll realize that time is actually the only thing that really is. But anyway, keep pretending that just adding time to a task makes it harder. Fine by me, I don't have to pretend
People work for what they have, that is the point of relaxation. They work hard to get things, so when they can, they use it.Again "time... important..." and you are playing. What you do with your time that is so important? Time is life brother, but life isn't time. Living is important.
So you are against people using their time to play video games when they feel like relaxing, but are on a forum based around a version of a video game? That doesn't seem to make much sense to me.Improving your consciousness is time well spent. Anything else is just lack of balls to do so.
Definitely. For those who are fond of pokemon, Palkia beats Dialga in coolness any day.
They aren't quite as fast, and are far louder.mekanisms upgraded basic factory(smelting) pretty much is an induction furnace but with extra slot for processing
Tasty.Every person that argues against time being limited and precious deserves a concrete flavored ice cream cone
Remember, it's still in dev, so it's bound to buggy. Hopefully they won't release it with this bug still in.Yeah and it works horribly wrong, I set the ejector to output to the west side and it went out the north side....
Kill Endermen.Soul shards and EE3 are two of the mods most commonly removed because of OP-ness.
What do you do if you're playing on a modpack that doesn't have either?
Oh, you agree, then go eat one.Agreed.
Working out is not very relaxing, or fun to most people. Highly mental activities seem to be the jobs of the majority of the people on these forums (typically programmers). It doesn't depend on laziness, it depends on tiredness and preference. Getting money is not pointless, it's kind of required to live in an urban society. You really seem to be anti-video games, so stop playing them. Otherwise you are a huge hypocrite. You can relax by working out and doing highly mental activities, it only depends on how lazy you are with your own life. You only get stressed because you don't even agree with what you are doing (studying useless things or working to get money). And you can only be unproductive when you don't know what you are doing (normally working for getting money). Try reading a Plato dialogue, even if you get totally lost at it, you can start thinking and hypothesizing upon his hypothesis, which is certainly a relaxing activity.
Unfortunately IC2 furnaces can only get items from the top, so you will still need to have your processing units in the middle of the air.I like this, since it really helps with automation of IC2 machines. If they can output to the input of another machine directly, that would make them doubleplusgood!
That seemed like sarcasm, but I don't read your posts enough to know whether it is or not.now THIS is what I call a new item in a mod.
IC2 isn't that dead then.
I agree. There should be a way to automate crop breeding, and more ways of doing it other than random hope that you got those sticky reeds. I doubt IC3 will come out until the current devs think of a bunch of new material.snipping a wall of text inside a wall of text
Well, they kind of have it. You right click (I'm going off of other posts, as I haven't played with latest IC2 yet) on a side, and it auto outputs from that side. There should be a shift right click on the item to allow for configuring in a similar way to TE.
I agree.i wish you could specify a side, I want to have a hopper on the left and an output on the right, But sometimes it outs the scrap into the hopper and recycles it twice
