Playing Monster survival, just getting past the early stages to the middle part of the game where I've got a decent amount of materials. I had the bright idea to build a dark room mob spawner/grinder right above my main base because that way it would be chunk loaded.
So I'm sitting there in front of my smeltery making my first cobalt pick when I hear the dreaded "plop hiss" of a creeper landing behind me. I have just enough time to realize that it somehow spawned in my base instead of in the dark room before it explodes.
In doing so, it not only blew up ALL of my carefully stacked iron chests with all of my carefully sorted ores, minerals, and other drops, but also the barrel with 50 stacks of cobble sitting right next to the chest.
Pop quiz, minecrafter. You have 5 minutes to pick up all of the materials you just spent many hours collecting. The wood/iron/gold you need to build new chests to hold all your stuff is lumped in with the diamonds, redstone, mob drops, lapis, and all your ores. And there's cobble everywhere.
What do you do?
