Since Reika is here already, I want to ask whats the limit for the industrial coil? I managed to blow mine up along with my base spectacularly before I rage'd quit. My last measurement ranged in the 43PJ
I just looked up how much energy that is. That's about four times the energy that the country of Mongolia used in one year (2010).

I have noticed people's tendency to do that (and forgo gears entirely and just use RF transport). I am nerfing both.

what
exactly
have you done?

Is there a plan to break the extractor up into multiple blocks? On the one hand the mechanics of the device encourages the use of more extreme power solutions.

On the other hand, the way it stacks torques and speeds doesn't seem right. And it just it does too much in a single box.

Also, the grinder, which achieves 3/5 the effiency, seems unbalancedly strong as an early game ore doubling tool. Especially as it 3x rather than 2x its ore output.

Lastly, some of your devices use power-from-below. This is a problem for ... the kind of 'hardmode' I like to use - where I try not to mix mods (especially if they have overlapping purpose) - so I have only the hopper available to extract outputs.

Please consider making it an option for the extracter to auto eject outputs into adjacent inventories first before moving to the next stage.

Apparently, the fermenter does not use the forge dictionary for saplings. I was unable to get forestry apple oak saplings in there, though they are registered as TreeSapling.

Personally speaking, I skip your energy transmission system.. except for the odd gearbox/cvt... because it's just too much of a pain to deal with. You're machines aren't hard to set up to function, but they are pretty much a pita to set up in any sort of base you don't want looking like a mess.. plus they're almost universally loud.

It is extremely easy to setup the power system in a manner that is hidden like other mods. In the floor or the wall and then use bevel gears to bring the power to the machine. When the power generation is in another room it is much quiter. You can also change in the configs a setting for the machines volume.

There's also a sound dampening block that (presumably) will silence RC machines. I believe its the "Sound Muffler" in Extra Utilities, if your modpack comes with that.

While it does muffle a little, it tends to be completely overpowered by most of the stuff in RotaryCraft. Multiple mufflers do help bring it down to tolerable levels. I think the loudness is somewhat the point. Comparable real world stuff is pretty noisy.

I changed the sound level in the configs down to five percent (0,05). This doesn't seem to change the range of the sound, but makes it relatively faint. Especially DC engines are much more bearable now.

Agreed. Been in a diesel power generating room irl; you need sound protection or you go deaf in minutes.

Have you not tried the configs?

No, it uses custom libraries. Forestry is not supported because everything is NBT. That said, I can and will add a special handler.

The giant hemisphere? That was because you exceeded Long.MAX_VALUE (2^63-1). How the hell did you manage that?

I want to know as well so I can recreate and watch it. Explosions are so much fun if you know they're coming. ^.^
An NBT editor would work; just set it less than zero (thus tricking the TE into thinking an overflow has occurred).

Agreed. You should see the jet engine we have in our lab. Apparently, it was designed to go into cars back in the 60s. First words of the lab manager? "As soon as I turn it on you will see why that never got anywhere."

Chunk Loaded server environment, 6 Industrial Coils in total, 5 hooked up to its own Reactor from Reactorcraft. Whenever I come back on I collect the 5 coils and transfer all the energy into 1 coil, I KNEW it was going to explode at some point.. but science beckons, that and I underestimated the explosion and its size. This explosion then proceeded to chain into my more volatile machines and poof!

That is extremely impressive. I put that in to punish NBT hackers; I never imagined it could obtained legitimately.

Is it possible to automate the fractionation unit?
I can't put items inside with AE or a Factorization Router
