Agreed but I imagine its hard to put in a safeguard there that isn't also abusable. In the future a bridging coil would have worked; its basically useless as a coil (doesn't charge or discharge) but recipes into a coil that won't explode (bonus to mod author if it somehow retains MIN(allowedCharge, existingCharge)What sucked was not that the coil would crater if it was actively charging over the version change, but that the new "overcharged" coils wern't grandfathered in and at least allowed to discharge.
anti player features, even in the name of realisim, are not cool.
http://forum.feed-the-beast.com/thr...trial-coil-safety-solution.42420/#post-579016wait - what - how does a comparator work? I havn't seen coils emitting a redstone signal.
As far as I can tell they output directly to a comparator only; they don't output a regular redstone signal you can pick up with dust or red alloy wire or something.
Lemme know if the link needs some sort of explanation. Its probably a noob effort on my part, but to be fair, I'm still using it and it works (and I've had no craters since I implemented it)
