FTB Horizons - General Feedback Thread

Is there a reason we can't get an update to the Horizons change log? There has been 4 updates and not one update to the change log forum... And the forums are locked so its not like the community can do it.
It really helps server admins know exactly which version of the mods the pack is using. It's really frustrating to have to go through each mod one by one just to figure it all out, then search the change logs of the mods themselves to find out what changes were implemented in that version.
I realize FTB staff doesn't get paid for the work they do. But is it really that hard to update a forum post with the versions of the mods after updating the pack?

The Horizons change log is updated through 1.0.10, which is the latest version available through the launcher.

Maybe I'm just derping here, but if this isn't linked directly on the main site it really should be. Every time I go to look for these I end up back in a forum thread.
Siro, do you mind laying out what navigation path you are using? From what I can see of the FTB Main Site (http://feed-the-beast.com) Horizons is not mentioned at all. If you mean from the forums, the change log website is the VERY first thread stickied at the top of the change log forum. If I click the Horizons pack change log thread, the very first line of the very first post is:

The change log website is a huge improvement over the old system. I'm honestly not sure what else they can do to make it more prominent. Maybe that Change Log forum needs to be replaced with a link that takes you to the Change Log website?

Considering all of this is already set up, just linking to it there would be helpful. I know it's linked on the forums, just saying it should probably also be on the main site despite beta status because it IS a huge improvement.
I absolutely agree the main landing site needs some content updates. I mean, the "latest news" posting on the site is something about the Direwolf20 1.5 pack from last August. The page looks phenomenal. I imagine whoever voluntarily spends their free time to maintain that landing page has been rather busy with real life and trying to enjoy gaming.
Until they do have free time that they feel like spending on that project, I'm thankful we have access to the latest modpack information through the changelog website.

Just want to know : I'm not be able to find hemp with the 1.0.10 version. Do you know where I could find them ? I need this to be able to craft some strings (3 hemps give strings).

IDK, but there is cotton too and that can make string.
They're probably somewhere; I don't know of any config they don't spawn under, but hemp is relatively rare stuff.Hi everyone
