I can't manage more than 20 fps in Hermitpack (averaging ~16 fps on lowest settings), and I occasionally get horrible stuttering as well, and this is before I've even built a house, let alone any machinery. :/

Is anyone else able to get acceptable framerates out of this pack? I assume so since other players are discussing gameplay elements and stuff... How can I fix the performance? Fastcraft isn't updated past 1.7.10 yet...

EDIT: Here's my system specs:
CPU: i7-3770
GPU: AMD R9 270x 4gb
8GB DDR3
Windows 10 64-bit

You are asking for help on how to fix performance by posting in the general chat area and not tech support. You've also given zero information on your current setup, what you've already tried and what the results were. I'm not quite sure how you expect anyone to be able to offer you any useful information without making wild assumptions.

I'm looking for general information about the pack, nothing about my hardware setup (which is decent) should impact performance this severely. I also did look through the tech support forum, and the questions there are dealing with crashes and more specific problems. All I'm really looking for is for others to share their experiences, I just want to know if others have issues too. (Can you run the pack decently?)

I tried all that I could think of as of this moment, which is to lower my settings all the way. All drivers and ancillary software is up to date, and as I mentioned fastcraft is completely out of date and thus unusable in a 1.10 pack.

Here's my system specs:
CPU: i7-3770
GPU: AMD R9 270x 4gb
8GB DDR3
Windows 10 64-bit

Last time I ran this pack I was getting between 250 and 300fps, but I'll concede that my system is a fairly decent one. You need to be allocating between 4 and 6 GB without a texture pack for best results with this pack. Any less and it is going to struggle to even launch.

Okay thanks for your input, I always forget about that ram allocation. I had FTB set at 3.5GB, trying 6GB now as I type this... okay definitely smoother, that fixed the stuttering issue. Still pretty crappy fps, even when it peaks at 25 it feels worse than that. At least now I know it's an issue on my end though.

Yeah, I wasn't impressed wit the performance either, but then again they have something like 192 mods installed, several of which are fun but unnecessary, like the on that adds worms that till your soil and speed up crop growth in a 3x3 area without needing water.

94 Mods and there is a memory leak with with the current forge version from what I understood so that might also be the cause of some issues, I used 4 gigs and don't have any issues.

A new beta version of the pack with 92 mods was released yesterday, you might want to check it out. I don't know where I pulled 192 from

Yeah I seen the beta was out but I won't put a beta live on my server due to the fact it may still have issues or crashes so it's always better to wait for the final release.
