Now I want to upload pics of the server being functional but I don't know how....
Join the server, take screen shots, post 'em? Maybe with some chat in one picture? IDGAF about servers usually, so take this with a grain of salt.
we can't "show" because we dont have the textures yet. and most of the blocks are going to be a custom render so right now they look invisible. unless you WANT to see a bunch of hit boxes and locked chest textures...
I know. Get placeholders if you have custom renders. The default pink and black missing texture does wonders for such a thing... Is it gonna be ugly? It's got no textures, so duh. But talk is cheap, and the trick to get people to care is to show, not tell. Even with placeholder textures, custom renders can be amazing to look at.

place holders... that would still take a crap load of time because you have to use a program to make a model. A program that I honestly don't know how to use properly and was going to learn ONCE the mod programming was done. I have more important things to do like school, making multi blocks, and server maintenance. that isn't really something practical to do right at this moment.

Place holder textures are a crap load of time? I somewhat misunderstood, I guess, I thought you had some custom models ready for use. And if you place making Multiblocks above assigning the most basic texture out there to some things for some screen shots, I guess there's a reason why I've heard a lot about the mod but only know the name, the concept, the mechanics assuming they haven't been reworked to death and back again(ie if the mechanics are vastly different then what it said in the old thread), and the team.

As a reminder, Placeholder Textures aren't even any time beyond assigning a texture you have(aka that 4 squares, 2 black 2 pink texture for missing item icons), so I'm curious what you're even doing.

Again, want hype? Let it generate naturally. Don't hype it yourself beyond the basic concept of making hype.
Azanor has this down pat. His youtube sneak peaks are all perfect because it's all show, and no tell. This is what it looks like, this is a glimpse of what I do with it, but I say nothing before it's released and let the world build the hype it wants itself.

I'm not the texturer texturing items is not my job. and place holder textures would still require some concept to the, making a bunch of white blocks turn into a big white block and spit out stuff when you put stuff in isnt really all that exciting. and again, making the box is a little bit more time consuming when you don't know how to use the program. and yes i DO think making multi blocks essential to the mod is more important the adding textures.

Do you code the items? Texturing is done in code, by assigning the path used by the texture then placing the texture there. Again, though, I had assumed that you had something to look at by this point. GUIs, maybe items doing things, anything beyond idle chatter. But maybe not.

We have coded hundreds of lines just to get everything to exist and visible and have crafting recipes, so please understand with the kinda schedule me and solomon have makes this kind of a big tasks. not to mention we have had to add MORE items as time goes on to balance out the mod[DOUBLEPOST=1400986646][/DOUBLEPOST]

You could just copy the default missing icon texture and use that. That's the basic placeholder. Even Mojang uses it. Hell, forge uses it too.
And I get you're busy. Just was hoping that maybe there would be SOMETHING to show for your work beyond idle chatter. If not, well, guess I'm done wasting your coding time. After all, maybe if I left you alone, you may end up with something to show for all this hard work, eh?

Here you go?

And at least I now know that it's more then just idle chat. I knew the texture was missing, I wasn't expecting anything beyond this. Well, I hoped maybe some looks at the custom render blocks even if they have placeholder textures, but if they aren't coded for that yet, no biggie. I figured there must be SOMETHING to show, even a screen of blocks that need textures.
I guess the next question is do they do anything yet?

All the time for texture making (blame me(I have been working with my friend to make the textures)) has been sucked into some HD mob textures

Ah. I presume not for fleshcraft, though. That would be kinda silly.
I can't tell if that's sarcasm or not.... in case it was not sarcasm the textures are for fleshcraft. They where going to be HD textures for all the items but my friend said it would look weird with vanilla minecraft low res textures.

the reason it is flat is because it kinda works like a chest or a hopper. they have an item texture but can be placed

Not sarcasm, dead serious. Unless it's barely HD(say, 32x or maybe 64x), it'll stick out like a sore thumb. Work in 16x if you can do so, otherwise, risk the effect of having your mod look like Sphax without any of the benefits of Sphax(of which there is mod support and literally nothing else).

That's why it ended up being only mobs my friend said the same thing as you

Even the mobs can be a sore thumb. Look at TC4 and the Tainticles. Do they feel right to you in Minecraft? Replace the zombie textures with ones from a 32x pack, a 64x pack, a 128x pack, and a 246x pack, and look at them next to, say, a villager, and your basic blocks. Vanilla texture packs, as a reminder.
If it doesn't fit, it doesn't fit. Even MMPS armor. Seem normal to you in Minecraft?

Well I'm a bit weird about that but I do actually like the textures :p

For fleshcraft? Maybe it'll be fine. I don't know what it'll look like, so obviously your statement needs a heavy YMMV on there end there.
As long as it looks good, and isn't Sphax level textures(256x with barely any more detail then 16x but vastly more painful to look at), I guess we may be okay.
