Yeah lmao if you get a t5 enderman spawner, you're pretty much set for life. I would just encourage that all servers remove it or just limit it to everything but the minium

I'm not sure I'm following. You mean let them use EE3 but not the minium stone? That's all there is to the mod. If you ban the minium stone you might as well disable the mod.

I thought that stuff with the corny captions and stuff like the golden cup was EE3 as well

I don't think this true at all. The entry-level for EE3 is extremely low, (can be achieved in the first few hours of joining a server) and it's extremely powerful early-game when you need specific items that it can generate cheaply (such as obsidian from logs, blaze rods from blaze powder and diamonds from gold). Combine it with other mods like soulshards and it's just ludicrously overpowered. T5 enderman/pigman spawner? .. gg on your infinite iron/gold/diamonds.

If memory serves, I'm sure I recall mention that condensers (or rather the functionality to generate "free" resources) was something that the mod author was intending to put back into EE3. If that's true, then EE3 will be just as bad as EE2 was from a balance perspective.
Minimum stones are intended to have a more expensive crafting recipe but pahimar wants to do cooler things using red water which he hasn't implemented yet

EE3 only adds 3 items, minium shards, minium stone, and philosophers stone(only available in creative or through NEI cheat mode). The stuff with the corny captions I'm thinking you mean Xeno's Reliquary. It has the "Emporer's Chalice", captioned "An infinite water bucket unless you drink from it. Trades life for hunger...". I'm guessing you meant that.

Your complaining that EE makes getting diamonds worthless. Why? They are worthless anyway. They no longer make the best armor nore the best weapons. And even without EE they are hardly the rarest thing in the game. They are mid tear parts nothing more important than that. After all any advanced mining system will give you stacks and stacks of them.

Well first of all you gotta remember it takes a diamond per iridium alloy ingot, and second what concept is your mining system, ic2 miner, mining well, quarry array etc

Eh, I like EE3 for a few things. Being able to turn dirt into grass in place, being able to cycle through dyes because, thanks to EBXL, deserts can be a pain to find, and portable crafting. Well, that and ender pearls. TE and MPS both require them, and they are a pain to get if you haven't gotten to the end yet, and you aren't using the anvil cheat on soul shards.

In actuality, after making first quarry which requires total of 13 diamonds (11 for quarry, 2 for diamond pipe or diamond saw to make filter) you are all set; each quarry brings up around 50 to 70 diamonds per 40 hours and if you are really into diamonds just arrange your quarry dept to 20 or just learn how to code and get a few turtles just for 3 iron you can make diamond factories with them. If you really like to play a hard game with apparent balance, I'd recommend Terrafirma mod.

You could just remove EE3 from the modpack if you don't like it... instead of trying to ruin it for the rest of the people who think it's handy. SMP? Sorry, you can either just not use it on a server, ask your server admin to disable it, or not play on that server.

imho, the modpacks are meant to be the top of compatibility to use for removing personal unwanted features.

Adding mods is difficult because you have to study carefully a way to use ids without conflicts, it's easier to remove mod on a working configuration where all the ids are already working in harmony.
If a modpack has all the mods you want plus unwanted mods, it's fast enough to get rid of the mods you don't want, instead of building a whole personal modpack from ground up.

I always use the Ultimate modpack as a base for my personal modified multimc instances.
I remove what i don't want, then i add the mods it misses.
With rapid backups , i can set up my personal instance within minutes, instead of hours , building from ground up.

So, why nerfing the game for those who want those mods? :p
