End Of Steam Problem (info inside)

For some reason and all of a sudden when trying to log on to our server (i'm running client, friend is running client and server) I get the end of stream.

Here is what it says.

[INFO] [STDOUT] Loading Player: shadowquinn1974

[INFO] [STDOUT] [Portal Gun 1.4.4v0.1] Recieved client info from shadowquinn1974
[INFO] [Minecraft] shadowquinn1974 lost connection: disconnect.overflow
[INFO] [STDOUT] Unloading Player: shadowquinn1974

He logs in fine, we both have all the same files, configs and everything.

Any ideas?

magic pack 1.4.5 atm, since they refuse to make a full pack we had to add in the other mods. all mods are up to date (recommended versions), all configs match and so do the mods.

No sir. I am thinking it is a packet problem and that would be a server problem but I am just not sure.

I've had similar issues when the client version isn't identical to the server version. There was no other error... the server accepted the connection but when the client would "look at" a block that was in the newer version on the server and not in the client version of the mod it would just end of stream the connection.

So I'd recommend the clients double-check their mod versions.
