Question: Is it intentional, that an elite battery in a powertool will only recharge (with kinetic generator legs) when the power tool is actively selected in the hotbar?

I don't even have a battery in mine, just tweaked the batteries in each of the other pieces to around half. Think 9.26MJ or so total on the version in dw20 pack.

It's possible to get a high armor rating, but not flat-out invincibility like the Quantum Suit provides.

It's weird, because I was always more durable in my MPS than in my quantum suit. When we nuked my old server lots of other peopled died but I didn't. The only thing quantum armor has going for it is status lock, but I find this more than a little overrated.

Fascinating, but this has not answered my question.

Have you noticed that your power level goes down when you don't have the power tool selected---that is if you have a battery on it in the first place? Since you don't have access to that battery when the power tool isn't selected it makes sense that it can't be charged when it isn't selected.

How fascinating is that?

MPS received a lot of praise for the modular battery system, where every involved armor part can power every other. Except the power tool. Yes, I do know that the PT still works even if its own battery is empty. What I would like to know is, why can my armor charge up, while my PT can't. The technical explanation "you don't have it selected" obviously comes to mind - but why is that? I mean, every usual tool irl you don't use that needs to be charged is put into its charging station. An armor this advanced should have a plug to put the PT in while its not in use. ;)

Oh and this?
How fascinating is that?
Not even worth continuing. Don't bother, I won't bite. Instead, I don't mind your passive agressive tone and simply put you on my ignore list. Have a nice day. =)

how about the technical explanation "still in alpha testing" and "you are almost 250 versions behind" instead

250 versions  you have been busy. Just out of curiosity, can you tell roughly how many people are actually using the 1.5 versions? or how many downloads it's had?

This might.
In the version we are using, the gauntlet is counted only when selected.
It goes for batteries and for weight.

An easy way to test this is to put a lot of weight on the gauntlet so that it would go way over the 25kg limit when worn. You will see that your speed goes down only when the gauntlet is selected.

MachineMuse might have forgotten about that now, because newer versions count the gauntlet as long as you have it on your person, but it is not the case in our version.

EDIT: I might have miswritten that, as it sounds offensive to MachineMuse.
What I meant was that some of the functionalities we are talking about here were changed more than a month ago.

Yeah in my older version (well it was my older version but I'm about to start using a newer version as the mutimc instance just downloaded for the server I'm about to join yay) the gauntlet power is only available when it's on hand, so that will affect changeability. But in the future, awesomesauce abounds and that's not an issue any more hooray we so excited.

Thank you. The first part - I knew. The quoted part was, what I wanted to know. It's fine if it is fixed/changed in a newer version. No need to hurry. =)

So what is the higest value of weight with NO slow down?

I've read lots of 24s, 25s and 26s when you consider people not being explicit if it is inclusive of the value.
