Not at all. It means one can play in 1.5.x with your mod being one of the few you can use until the mod packs get updated and come out.Yeah...I know...it was probably foolish of me to update so soon...
I have a small question. Will adding the basic plating+advanced plating+energy shield increase armor? Is the energy shield the highest you can go?
It may surprise you to discover that I'm not interested in hearing about 'bugs' for a version that is almost a month old when I am updating several times per week.
Why are you pillaring when you have a jetpack?I just want to say that this is now my all-time favorite mod (above thaumcraft and RP2 gasp). I really can't wait until the 1.5 version of the FTB ultimate pack comes out so i can get at this new MPS with all the other mods in the pack. THe only really annoying thing is that shift-scrollwheel is autobound to the multitool's module switch, but when I'm pillaring over lava lakes (already mentioned, just adding on), it's really inconvenient
http://machinemuse.net/todo.phpAnother few random thoughts. Some HUD upgrades for the helmet, maybe a radar, or a light-level detector... Could be helpful when you've got Night Vision on. Compass maybe? Or an improved graphical display for the power you've got left, maybe a bar of some kind... Or a sort of person-shape with each section representing the power in each piece...
Maybe a sort of HUD overlay like what the pumpkin does, a sort of 'inside view' from the helmet... give a sort of visual 'in a powersuit' feel... Make all this toggleable at the table probably, since some people wouldn't like certain parts of it, but y'know.
Any of this sound appealing in any way?

Just read the TODO, and seeing "Environmental (better cooling in tundra than desert?)" made me think...
Why not do so when Forestry is there, hooking into the API (or whatever) to get the current biome temperature and humidity ratings?
I mean, sure, it would not be available to those that play only your mod, but it would require less time to implement, as you would already have values for all biomes, and you could put a module on your head gear to read those data, helping both for your mod and for those interested in bees.
That sounds like a very interesting thing to me, at least.
That sounds like a really good idea, actually. I haven't toyed with Forestry much but if it has an API for this sort of thing then it's probably a good start. I wouldn't want to rely on it forever, but it would make for a good initial venture and a nice bit of inter-mod compatability.Just read the TODO, and seeing "Environmental (better cooling in tundra than desert?)" made me think...

I guess most of you aren't going to be using it because your maps are dense with Redpower, but if anyone wants to try it with 1.5.1...
