1 Is totaly wrong. Why do you think this? Mine is on D://ProgrammFiles/Minecraft/FTBI like to ask you some questions. 1 is your ftb launcher on your desktop or download folder. it needs to be on c: drive I tend to put mine in a folder on c: called ftb. 2. Don't Google how to adjust the ram go into settings in ftb and set in to 4gb, if you don't have 4gb to spare, no mod minecraft games will play. If you have any other questions to ask please feel free to contact me.
I think he is referring to installing FtB/MC into the root directory instead of Microsoft's preferred default of installing into the user's APPDATA directory, which is in the users' home directory and hidden.1 Is totaly wrong. Why do you think this? Mine is on D://ProgrammFiles/Minecraft/FTB
Seems unlikely. Maybe no full FTB 1.7 modpacks will work acceptably, but FTBLite, a lot of <1.7 ftb packs, other packs from other launchers, and individual mods (and DIY packs with small numbers of mods) will be fineif you don't have 4gb to spare, no mod minecraft games will play
Not necessarily. I have my browsers set to ask me where to download.Actually I was, referring to the fact that when you download the ftb launcher it store's the file in your download folder.
Wrong, at least the part after "as". You can save it anywhere. You can save it into any folder you like as long it is in you (root), (main drive)
And I pick a version and stick with it a while because I don't want to start over, though I'll update individual mods because of bugs. Many other changes, please check the Changelogs before updating as it isn't "Recommended" yet. I delete all previous worlds when I load a new pack version so it won't hit me so hard if things go belly up.

v1.04 is out on the launcher, not yet recommended. Annihilation planes are broken, but fixed by @FireBall1725 and will be in v1.05, also TD

Thermal Dynamics was a little too unstable to make it into this release, but should be in v1.05, hopefully in a week or 2. No promises
I think extra cells could do that. Sort of. It has a liquid transition plain. It would eat the lava then you could have a level emitter emit the redstone signal.Hey, Is there a block that can detect lava and send out a redstone signal on any of the mods on dw20 pack?
I'm pretty sure that you can just drop the mod in the server folder (and clientside too) without any permissions becoming violated or void or whatever. You are still using the server version of the FTB pack but with an extra mod thats all (can someone confirm this for me please?)Hi. Could be possible to add the Vending Block mod to the pack? Mostly for server spawn shops... This is a neat, simple way of selling items to players and the plain old sign shops and villager trades is kinda getting old... What you think?
