Refinerys work completly fine with RF just tested it and hooked up a few refinerys with some conduits from enderio and put some oil in (all workes like it always did)
maybe you inserted the oil in the wrong slot? you have to put the oil into the double tank -> the single tank is the output

I just started getting severe lag when I try to use a tinkers crafting table. Like, the program locks up for close to a minute when I right click on one. It well eventually work though, but I get the same lag again when I add stuff to the crafting grid, then again when I actually craft the item.

I think this started when I updated to the latest pack.

Finally got the 32 ludicrite blocks I needed for my turbine. Getting the ghast tears really sped things up. Only ever made 2 trips to the nether. One for nether brick. The other for ghast tears. The botania catalyst helped with glowstone to make the blaze rods.

I really need to make another trip to the nether to get a ghast in a re-usable safari net. Ghast tears seem to be the only thing I can't get any other way then the Nether.

Going to note that my brother got the high voltage solar panel put together. Took him awhile, a lot of effort and resources. Was something to do though. Still didn't power the other laser drill as well as I was hoping.

unless you go to a tower in twilight forest and farm the mini-ghasts there

Yeah I did that in another pack, I got a mini ghast spawner using a diamond cart and made a spawning room. More ghast tears then you'll ever need

A little question from me (again ^^):

Anyone knows if Pam's Harvestcraft would be compatible with the direwolf pack or would it need to much config-tweeking?
(It's the one mod I see so often and kinda miss in the pack for making it a bit more food-choices and the nice fruit trees. Wondered if I could add it in a later version where i don't expect any update anymore, so it not gets deleted on an update)

It looks like the direworld20 pack already has a config file for it. I think it will work.

I am finding my IC2 progress in DW20 obstructed by a lack of Iridium. Does it only spawn in specific biomes? I live in, what turns out to be a swamp variant (slimes keep on spawning and stomping on my crops :( ), and so far have found exactly none despite having a multi level tunnel network that extends hundreds of meters.

I'm not sure if there are ore blocks spawning in the world, they must be very rare
Your best bet is probably to look around dungeons, greatwood trees etc.

I could swear I was finding the occasional nugget of this stuff while mining in a previous game.
It was kinda common in 1.5, I believe in 1.6 and up its dungeon loot and you need UU to reproduce it.

Don't quote me on that though, I haven't even begun IC2 in this pack yet

The Direwolf20 pack seems to be ucing IC2 experimental - which uses a new uu-liquid + scanner / replicator system rather than the old uu-matter (which was *coff* rather lame).

At any rate, it looks like I will need an IC2 nuclear reactor running before I can consider producing any iridium

So I'm guessing the Ender IO Farming Station doesn't do rubber trees? I've tried both kinds of rubber trees, one kind won't even go into the farming station, the other will go in and get planted but not harvested. Is there a config file I could change to fix that? Id like to use the farming station for a rubber farm because it's less laggy than the harvester/planter combo.

I'm not sure but if you want to farm IC2 rubber you can use the fruit picker from MFR, which doesn't lag as much as the harvester.

Making IC2 reactors is somewhat complex? Are there any sites with really simple, but relatively efficient, starter IC2 reactors for the IC2 included in DW20?

You can look around the IC2 forums. There is a lot of outdated information but also some threads about the new 5x5 reactors.
This thread explains a bit how they work and there are also some pictures of designs. Not so much simple ones though.

So, do I want to go straight to a 5x5? Thought I should start somewhere simpler... but the IC2 forums are a mess of advice for many different versions...
