Wat?
Do you actually have 46 instances of Chromaticraft installed in your instance? o_O

It also shows you having a bunch more instances of ChC, a bunch of DragonAPIs, and two instances of this:

Wallpaper: Version: 0.9. Main class: com.pau101.wallpaper.Wallpaper. Source: wallpaper-0.9-1.7.10.jar. Url: .
What mod, exactly, does this refer to?

Stacktrace:
at Reika.ChromatiCraft.Base.BlockChromaTile.func_149673_e(BlockChromaTile.java:139)
at com.pau101.wallpaper.proxy.ClientProxy.getBlockIcon(ClientProxy.java:178)
at net.minecraft.client.renderer.RenderBlocks.func_147793_a(RenderBlocks.java)
This looks, to me, like that Wallpaper mod is messing with the rendering of some ChC block- I'm guessing crystalline stone.

Try removing or disabling the Wallpaper mod on your client, opening up a creative world in SSP, spawning in the chromic lexicon and the casting room info fragment (protip: you can search ChC items in NEI even if their tooltips are scrambled), and seeing if it crashes when you open that entry.

I'm having a strange issue where my Lexicon's progression page will reset randomly. It appears that I still have each individual "achievement", but the book isn't showing that I do. If I obtain another achievement in the same chain, the book will show the chain, completed to the point I just got. However, the next time I open the book, the page will be back to the original "new to the mod" display, REGARDLESS of whether or not I use the "save and close" button.
Have you put any info fragments in your book (by shift-clicking it)? If not, I wonder if that's why ChC's getting confused and not displaying your progression.

Also note that the "save and close" button has nothing to do with saving your research or progression- it's *supposed* to close the book while remembering what page you were on, so next time you open it (say, to double-check a recipe or rune positioning), it'll still be on the same page, so you won't have to scroll around and find it again.

Sounds like something's broke.

I have not found any fragments, everything's been purely through the progression page.

Sometimes these are full resets, meaning I actually lose the achievements (I've touched bedrock several times today), sometimes it's just the book not showing stuff.

Also of note: I keep getting the "first-time login" books from reika's mods and from several other mods each time this resets. I suspect they may be linked, but I don't think it's a player data thing, because my inventory is always safe.

Does it need to have the corners of the bottom layer filled in with crystalline stone? I don't know if it does or not, but that's the first thing I'd try.
No, I checked in a creative world against the construct fragment for the pylon (since I don't have it yet in the world I'm playing) and failed to spot anything with it. Normal pylons have the cross shaped base.

I'll go file it as a bug report in a few hours then, try that crystalline stone in corners idea just in case first.

Wow dude u definitely know your stuff. I've deleted this wallpaper mod and /da-ding/ altar recipe works fine! I'm still not sure if actual casting room works but mate! I'm super happy, thanks! Now i have to check this room ^^

Edit:
Well i've checked and still something is not cool. I rebuild it even once more but still it seems that casting room has no effect on casting table, i've made ss: oi67.tinypic.com/2r5w1hw.jpg

Edit2: Nvm after server restart everything seems to be fine. At least for now ^^ Thanks for everything!

Try breaking and replacing a piece of crystalline stone.
I had, several times even. I've since made an issue though and just posted the results of my investigating, seems to be linked to railcraft's residual heat blocks.

Yeah, that was a stupid idea in the first place, as that would frequently break other mods that have open-air multiblock structures as well.

I mean, there are standardized methods to check if one counts as air, it's just nobody does really because it barely ever comes up. Why not just check if it's an air block instead of checking the more general case? Pseudo-air blocks are a thing after all, I'm pretty sure they're the standard for the extra big light sources, glancing at github even Reika uses them for the flood light, they check for them in plenty of places in even Chromaticraft too, just don't seem to check for them when forming multi blocks.

Railcraft just gets a bad rap because it tends to be the most noticable due to creating them all over the place even if you don't use Railcraft, at least with stuff like the arcane lamp you have to place something to start them appearing.

So due to worldgen clashing some ore berry bushes from TiC generated inside a secret burrow, unfortunately they destroyed the energy ball thing in the lower level in the process and that seems to have rendered it unusable. Anyone got any ideas on how to get around that? I've destroyed all the shielding crack just fine but the rest is unbreakable and unusable.

No. TiC is being stupid again, not caring about what it destroys.

I'm kinda stuck. I need to unlock broadcasting but green lines from research tree tells that i have everything. I don't have crystal burrows, ocean temple, painfull loss, wither and ender dragon i was in end though and i have 2nd tier casting room, liquid chroma and energized shards. I would appreciate a little tip. I have 3 double chests full of blank fragments and no idea what to do.

Today i've found water temple, killed ender dragon and wither and i'm still stuck. Anyone?

Will Chromaticraft structures spawn in RFTools dimensions? My world spawn was pretty terrible, I'm on an island in the middle of an ocean that's at least 3k blocks in every direction, and there's deserts and frozen tundra on the edge of that. Exploration is really a pain for me when I need to travel 5k blocks just to start looking for a plains biome for a secret burrow, and then being even more unlucky when the one I find doesn't have one.

I did end up finding a secret burrow and a buried hollow, but I'm not proud of it.

I don't *think* so. I know they used to, but I vaguely remember Reika restricting them to the Overworld at some point.

Looking at the config, I see

B:"Generate Pylons in Non-Overworld"=false

which looks like it'll make pylons spawn in other dimensions, presumably including RFTools dimensions. However, I don't see anything about the other worldgen structures, so I don't know if they'll spawn or not.

As an aside, in my own ChC playthrough, I appear to be stuck. I've leveled up my casting table (again), found all the remaining worldgen structures, and gotten Painful Loss, leaving the only visible-but-uncompleted progressions the ones for the 5x5 casting structure and the most basic lumen relay. I have the researches for neither of them (and blank fragments aren't doing anything in my inventory). I'm also running a slightly outdated version, so that might be the issue. I'll update and see what happens.

Is there any way to get a spawner for the spawner reprogrammer with just chromaticraft? Rotarycraft adds the bedrock pick but not using that, the only one I can think of that's kinda sorta close in the pack I'm in is MFR's porta-spawner but that is closer to the diamond dolly in not actually being a spawner block. I can move spawners too, but picking them up I've got no idea on.

Today i generated crystal pylon info fragment on creative and i got this entry but when i try to craft the item, casting table don't allow me and it look like this oi67.tinypic.com/24qjw20.jpg. Only entries i miss from previous tiers are burried hollows and painfull loss so that's not the case. I even tried to modify my profil save file but and i've found entries with chromaticraft but i have to admit it's a little bit too hard for me to figure this out. I would appreciate any help to go one step further even if i have to make this "cheat way".

So, I've finally gotten into the chroma dimension, and have spent so long looking for the major structures that I've started doubting their existence. As much fun as teleporting around aimlessly is *already saw the post mentioning a pattern, but an actual reference point is needed for that to be helpful*, what about maybe adding an endgame version of the pylon compass that can give a general direction for the major structures in the dimension? Can be a good use for that new gem-looking item currently just called "unnamed" as well as requiring material unique to the dimension. If it is possible to have an item that can point toward the structures location, this can be very useful without reducing the effort needed to actually get to the structure and at least give players that have made it this far some idea of what to do besides using the dimension as just unlimited chromaticraft resources.

P.S. suggested name for the "unnamed" gem: Lumenite?

P.S.S. I havn't seen anything in terms of caves yet, but since there seems to be accomodations for the other plants, there should be a place for rock flowers, shouldn't there?

Is there not already a device like you describe? I haven't gotten to the dimension myself, but I have seen screenshots showing something similar to Thaumcraft 4's thaumometer that displays the sixteen different colored runes.
