I just downloaded BNB a few seconds ago, here goes nothing! Would this be anything like the difficulty of Agrarian Skies?

Sorta. I mean, Jaded an Eymaz are basically in cahoots with the evil in FTB. I guess the first thing is that Blood N' Bones has land and you aren't in hardcore mode, but AgS it's a skyblock but you have a limited about of lives.

That's like asking which of the two "weevils" to choose? Obviously the "lesser" weevil. What if neither are "lesser" in any real sense. (You can direct your brickbats at @YX33A for this insipid comparison)
That's like asking if Attila the Hun is a milder version of Genghis Khan Joseph Stalin (thanks to @YX33A for tripping me enough times to edit this) (or vice versa). Go away before @Eyamaz and @Jadedcat turn their combined wraths upon you :p[DOUBLEPOST=1398962210][/DOUBLEPOST]

I wanted to ask you, why are you changing your avatar picture so often these days, then I read your signature.. huehuehuehuehuehue. More powaah to you :p

The answer to that question is YES, Attila the Hun was a milder version of Genghis Khan. I mean, who killed 40 million people(without famine as the main cause of death you caused) before machine guns?

I also suggest that you open a separate thread to chronicle your MAD and masochistic adventure to all and sundry! Although I suspect, it would be pretty similar to this one :p

Aaaah. I was ambiguous in what my point of reference was (which was obvious to me as I was writing it!) :-/ Historically you are right. I was trying to make a comparison of their "personalities" (ferocious, cunning, devastating to their enemies, etc.) and not the acts for which you were deriving the conclusions per se.

Need I repeat myself, though? She is his lesser no matter what. Because no one is more good at killing millions of people without machine guns, unless you count people who just starve their contries, and that's lame, they don't count in this battle.
And because of this, the only "atrocity" that was worse then Genghis Khan was WW2, at 66 million deaths. They had a lot of stuff that some of which is now illegal in world war 2. Including the Holocaust. Both in the fact that there was some big numbers from that and it's clearly illegal.

She is his lesser? I am assuming, typo.
To ensure the validity of my comment to stand, I have edited Genghis to read Stalin therby comparing Attila and Stalin, and hopefully the scales of comparison now equalise somewhat.

Or would you rather I compare Genghis and Stalin instead?

Or would you rather suggest two sufficiently equal evil personalities of your own to that remark? :p

EDIT: [Congratulates himself on participating in very own first thread derailement]

Stalin killed 20 million. Attila didn't rank on the kill scale. Genghis Khan killed 40 million before machine guns. So no, Stalin is nothing compared to Genghis. No one else killed as many as his army(unless you count Mao Zedong, but again, famine doesn't count IMO).

AS isn't particularly difficult when you know how to do things, it's just that before your early automation things are a bit grindy, and the later quests require you to create large amounts of items. BnB is more along the lines of doing its very best to kill you, and continue to keep killing you even when you've managed to work your way up the tech tree.

Well just had a fun hour long session of BnB (My first session)

Stats:
Deaths: 2
Items: Flint pick, two stacks of wood (Stacks being the 32-stacks), and a heck ton of food from those bushes
Base: Does a 2x1x1 hole in the ground I dig nightly count?
Frustration level: Not much. I think I've gotten lucky as far as deaths go.
Fun being had: Off the charts

For the poll I have an issue
1 is not a real number as far as I know and even then it is too high for a death count
2 is a bad joke
So can we have an "infinity" option please?

But even more desperatly I need a smeltery, to make a mattocks, to make a farm.[DOUBLEPOST=1399011245][/DOUBLEPOST]Good thing Im not on Hardcore...
Otherwise Id have started 20 new worlds by now xD
(litteraly, Ive died 20 times)[DOUBLEPOST=1399011409][/DOUBLEPOST]Aaaaand I need to go mining ANYWAYS, to level up my pickaxe, so that it can harvest iron, so I can smelt up some iron to make a bucket to collect lava, ignoring the fact that I also have to go find some lava by mining -_-
Level of difficulty: Absurd
Level of enjoyment: HTF AM I HAVING THIS MUCH FUN DOING THIS?!?!?!?!

This thread, in a nutshell - not published by O'Reilly books

Code:
do {
      printf("death by  %s  \n", possible_bnb_death_types[rand() % 25]);
} while (playing_bnb);

:p
