Here's my current bee house. It's supposed to look like an apiary, but i replaced the holes with glass.

Unfortunately, i painted myself into a hole by making it exactly 1 chunk in size. If you make yours bigger, you could probably get a more accurate replica.

I felt a 48x48x48 building would be too tall.

There are 40 alvearies in that, including a level for power and processing, a level that was living quarters/workshop before I moved out, and the roof is a mutation lab. (Which I don't really use anymore, as I've got what I need)[DOUBLEPOST=1366242660][/DOUBLEPOST]

Cherry wood matches the alveary coloring exactly.

The halfslabs on top are cherry, as is the floor but I covered that in grass anyways so it doesn't matter.

Hopefully this works. You can see I did it like an apiary on the outside, with 12 alvearies each with a rain shield and lighting. I just had to give each queen the cave dwelling trait to make them all work.

I would love to get me some of that Cherry Wood, anyone got a guide or something on how to get the saplings through breeding? I got some Aura Bee's for the silly fast pollination, I just need to know what saplings to combine.

I was planning to put a giant pixel art bee in there too, but not enough space sadly, although I think it may have made it look a bit weird...

For my bee concentration camp breeding building, i'm going to have make a huge alveary, as in i will use the pixels on the alveary blocks on a 1:1 ratio, however i feel this might be a bit bland and might spice it up a bit, may post some screenies in the base show off thread.

I mean, aleveary/apairy houses may look nice, but it's been done a lot before. Try doing something completely different! A garden would look cool, as natural-looking as humanly possible.
