Do warded blocks from thaumcraft block a nuclear blast from a nuclear reactor melt down?
I was writing the code for my control screen in a test world and all of a sudden the nuclear reactor exploded even though the screen showed the heat being 0. So now I'm looking for a way to block my base from turning to rubble without putting the reactor really far away.

Well I just encased a load of nukes in warded glass and they completely contained the blast.

As far as I know (I've never tested it myself) warded stone and warded glass will both completely contain a nuclear blast. I would recommend covering the corners too, just to be safe.
It's easy enough to confirm this in a test world if you want to be absolutely sure. :)

EDIT: Ah, too slow.

Thanks I forgot you can get the thaumcraft items in creative mode lol.

Btw they work along with the arcane door so that you can get in and out. At least now I can rest safe knowing that I wont login and see a giant hole where my base use to be lmao.

What drone goes into the breeding process to determine what the children will be? Is it the drone you put in to turn Princess into Queen or drones you put in after it is a queen?

I have no idea how Railcraft's internals work. I expected he'd do it by name (they share the name "biofuel" - in 1.5 MFR's "wins"), but maybe not. I guess I'll look into this for 1.5 now that RC has a public release.

Not in 1.4. The grinder supports it in 1.5 but soul shards hasn't updated iirc, so...

Not in 1.4. The grinder supports it in 1.5 but soul shards hasn't updated iirc, so...

It's the drone you put in to turn a princess into a queen, I'd imagine.

The only two bees taken into account for the children are the princess and the drone that are consumed when the queen is created.

The possible remaining drones in the drone slot only serve as a way to store up to 63 of them, and is rather pointless in most situations.

I hope it clears the matter.

Well I feel like a complete noob. I used the junk drones to breed princess into queen. Then took the good drone then put it into the slot. Woops. Guess I know now.

I play my SSP on servers. So I have never had this problem. And another added benefit of using a server for SSP is that you can easily let a friend on to help for a bit. You should try it.

What happens if you slap an ME storage bus on an access terminal, attached to a separate network? Does the second network have access to everything in the first? What if the storage bus is attached to the same network as the terminal?

Mind you, that's something worth investigating - it is possible to have AE subnetworks. I suspect they would need to be attached to the controller, however, but I'm not certain.
