Sure, I will give it a go and see what happens. Looking at the change log for 1.5.0, it does say that Mystcraft was updated. At the moment, we don't have any Mystcraft world started yet. Has Mystcraft always done the 'profiling' or is that new with the update?

• Disabled MobiusCore by default

On singleplayer, for the first few minutes there will be "lag" but it won't be much.
And most servers that run Infinity would be over 2gb... really, if you are running Infinity, you shouldn't be using less than 3gb. There's no rule saying that you shouldn't use less, but it would be wise to run higher.
I think that may be why you are experiencing it worse than other. On startup most servers are bad, but get over the initial "loading hump" pretty quickly.

As for the 2 mods. No, no reasons why adding Portal Gun would cause issues. As for disabling MobiusCore, I don't know what mod(s) require it. But if it isn't crashing, then it shouldn't be an issue

MobiusCore is among other things the backbone for Opis. I am guessing it gets disabled by default since Opis is also disabled by default?

Probably because Opis causes more lag than it finds

I'm trying to bottle up a Hungry Node using Equal Trade to replace obsidian with glass, but it's not working. Even if I whack the glass with the wand before any glass breaks, it doesn't jar up the node. Has this been made impossible? The wand has plenty of vis, and it worked on a normal node.

I've never bottled a hungry before but I know you have to be quick before the hungry gobbles any of the glass.

If you've finished feeding it, it might be worth tossing it a bottle of taint to taint it first,then bottle the node.

Well, I tried to go from 1.3.4 to a closer upgrade, 1.4.1 and left it up for at least 20 min. It eventually crashed instead of leveling off. I'm just having a hard time understanding why the 1.3.4 pack plays so well with what we have, and a simple pack update would refuse to work. It's also hard to justify going from splitting about $100 / year to play a 'free' game to double or triple that for 2 - 3 GB because of a pack upgrade....
I'll contact the host and see if MAYBE by chance it's something they have done differently between the pack updates, but I'm thinking we may have to choose between staying at the 1.3.4 pack forever, tripling our yearly cost, or choosing a different pack altogether and starting over again.

Are you fully surrounding the node with obsidian before capping the multiblock structure? I've forgotten to fill the top center gap before, drove me nuts.

The only thing I know that has vitium on it that isn't actual tainted stuff is the Bewitching Cloth from Witching Gadgets. I suppose you could use a wisp spawner and hope you get some Vitium Ethereal Essense or breed Vitium Mana beans (or get one from a pech)

Did you put the wood slabs on top of the box? I figure you probably did, but it's worth asking.

Also, are you clicking the glassified box with your Equal Trade wand? It might be trying to replace the glass with glass- try Equal Trading the obsidian to glass, then press Shift+F to remove the focus form your wand, then click the glass with the focus-less wand.

And you are sure the wand holds enough of each vis to perform the bottling? Unless things have changed then it is not insignificant amounts that it needs.

I finally found one in my world and would hate to get nothing out of it. Granted, it's in a magical forest, but I still want to ensure the maximum gain from each Silverwood tree that I find.

Can someone type out EXACTLY what I need to use the /clearblocks command from cofh to remove all of the RCHiddenTile blocks around player ScottulusMaximus for 500 blocks(or the max distance that won't kill my server). Because this:

/cofh clearblocks {<player> <xRadius> <yRadius> <zRadius> | <xStart> <yStart> <zStart> <xEnd> <yEnd> <zEnd>} [block[#meta]] [block[#meta]] ...

is complete gibberish to me, I've no idea what brackets are supposed to remain etc
