that's.... weird. I have another screenshot with the lighting problem, where it lights up an area where there's no items that could cause that.
I did drain the lava from the volcano that you see in the screenshot, so perhaps this could be caused by a lighting problem where it doesn't update the area

05xezmi.png

I also keep getting these errors from Witches

Code:
[Client thread/WARN]: Unable to play unknown soundEvent: minecraft:mob.witch.hurt
[Client thread/WARN]: Unable to play unknown soundEvent: minecraft:mob.witch.idle

anyone know how to fix this problem? because it reports a line for every single witch in the game, so if you've a witch farm your log will quickly get spammed and the whole game starts to lag like crazy
Dude, I think your computer is possessed.

I'm also having a weird lighting issue, where I mine a block and it leaves behind a dark space. Placing a torch doesn't even fix it, though it doesn't spawn mobs. I've got Fastcraft installed, so i'm inclined to think that it's the cause.

Also, I didn't know witches make sound. I'll have to check my logs and see if I've got the same lines.

I have had a similar lighting glitch while mining. Placing torches or causing any other block update also did not fix the lighting. As I kept digging, I ran into the "chunk holes" you get occasionally where a chunk doesn't load and is just a big hole to the void. I found that if I was mining in any chunk adjacent to those holes, I got the that lighting bug. It doesn't explain the weird lighting above ground that you quoted, but might be explain it it when underground.

Trying to grow all the pams harvestcraft trees in an underground area, they all work except for the "Palm" style trees. They should have plenty of space/light to grow but they won't. Does anyone know the requirements for them to grow?

I have a question hopefully someone can answer. I Have made a pretty epic Tinkers Hammer but I'm quickly finding out that I can't use it like I want to.. When I go on a mining run my inventory fills up so fast its crazy. What are some of your solutions to this issue? I'm using the direwolf20 1.7.10 pack version 1.0.2.

Thanks.

So, Autonomous Activators don't actually collect Ore berry drops anymore. What alternatives work for Essence ore berry farming?

Do you mean they drop the oreberries on the ground, or delete them? In the former case, I'd try AAs and vacuum hoppers (or RotaryCraft vacuum or Blood Magic zephyr ritual (which collects instantly and doesn't need line of sight, by the way)); in the latter, golems or MFR.

They just drop them on the ground. I've got quite a few, so I'd rather not AA each of them and then i'd need multiple vacuum hopers. I was hoping something like MFR would work. So you mentioned mfr, is it the Harvester or the fruit picker that works for ore berries?

It Is just the harvest that you need also if you can you should use a aa and a watering can to speed up the berry growth rate

The answer to your question is that some trees need a special typ of biome theres a chance that that one needs a type of tropics. so a beach or jungle and anyother along those lines.

Backpacks. Open block null inventory, ender pouch link to main ender chest
This is working out great. I didn't know about the /dev/null from open blocks I was looking for something like it but had no idea if something existed like it existed.

I have the null set to cobble and then an ender pouch linking to my AE system so this is working out great. Thanks.

If you have blood magic, you can use the compressor sigil to auto compress cobble into the extra utilities compressed coble and all it's family members.

Dont underestimate the Forestry backpacks. I always carry a Diggers Backpack set to resupply mode. This sucks up any cobble, dirt etc. while constantly refilling any stacks I have in my inventory. This way I can keep 1 full stack in inventory and everything else gets filed away neatly. Awesome for building stuff as well, as it allows you to carry loads of stacks of building materials while keeping inventory clean.

Default backpacks are somewhat small, but it is surprisingly easy to upgrade them to the 45 slot ones. Just need to find some Tropical bees let them produce some Silky wisps for a while. (watch out for their poison, do it somewhere out of the way :p)

Also if you have Random things you can use the Player Interface to directly interact with your own inventory in any imaginary way. Pump things in, out, whatever.

Best way to get some ender pearls? I can't find any endermen, but when I do, they always teleport elsewhere to never return...
I've got a couple ender lilly seeds (5 to be exact) and I've planted them on endstone but they take FOREVER to grow anyway...

If your mid-late game, mob spawners for MFR all you need is 1 enderman mob essence (can be farmed) and some power if your still early game, try getting an endercore and planting it on that is should speed things up
