I'm 100 percent certain this has been posted somewhere else, but for the life of me I can't find it. What is the highest number of items that can contribute to thaumcraft infusion stbility before it becomes redundant? I realize that this is dependant on the maximum instability recipe that's out there, which I believe is still a KAMI one, unless someone knows different witht the new warp stuff. I think it was something like 256. Thanks for the help!

Well since it is the Prechargers that need the Pink Slime Balls, you need to multiply each drill by 2-4. And I usually go for 4 simply for symmetry :p
But yeah a stack is overkill, but you might as well make certain you don't have to go through all the bother again. It should be easy enough to get that many with a few syringes and a Looting weapon.

Have actually been planning a build for my current TPPI world with quite a few Laser Drills for an underwater mining field. Obviously they are not all going to be fully powered. Maybe just all be sharing the power of one maxed out. In that case I could easily use a stack of slime.
But you don't need syringes ever... just an auto-spawner :p

Well you can embiggen one, kill it and its descendants except for one little slime, embiggen it again, rinse and repeat.

True, just used to always going for the drill before the spawner setup. But actually done it the other way around this current world, so will actually just do that :p

If you have a digital miner from Mekanism, is the laser drill set-up really necessary?

that's all well and good in worlds... But I don't like vanilla world gen. So I play with skylands, which don't have a lot of resources, so laser drills are better... especially when you have solar panels that can produce 100,000RF/t ;)

So it isn't part of the mod that they make riiiiiidiculous amounts of power?
Not really... I am using the pack dev version, as the mod is for a server (no crazy power gen at the minute, so I needed something stupid :p)
But I believe Shad0wB1ade's defaults are still pretty high :p

I'm just using an MFR tree farm-sawmill-planter-furnacegenerator setup
i've had it the entire time I've been playing. It also produces wheat, sugar cane and black trees, while running my digital miner and ore processing

Is there a way to get microblock logs to have a horizontal texture? No matter which direction they're placed from, they only display vertically.

They should place just like a log, so if you place you place on the the side of a block, you should get the texture you want

That doesn't appear to be the case for micropart logs - I know that you can orient the logs in Carpenter's Blocks.. but I can't seem to make horizontal-log Microblocks. I'd actually like to know the answer to this one, too.

To my knowledge, invar is iron level armor. Personally I prefer Manasteel over it due to it's interaction with mana. Nano armor is probibly another option, although it's only viable should you both be interested in IC2 anyhow and have the infrastructure for it. I personally wouldn't go through IC2 just for the armor. Both of these are more 'repairing' sidegrades than actual upgrades however. I suppose I should also mention Repair enchanted Thaumium for the same reason. The next step is likely diamond level armor, which are mostly late-game armor, aside from perhaps diamond armor itself. All modded equivalents i can think of are fairly late game. Of the sidegrades I mentioned, only Nano can be upgraded into late game armor.

Anyone know how someone can disable certain Items / blocks in a mod / mods? As well as blocks generating. I assume you just set the ID to 0, but not sure.
