Aaaaaalrighty ... I feel like an idiot now.Your break point is the Terra - Terra
Put them on a vertical wall in front of any normal horizontal track. Then put any normal horizontal track on the ledge above it. It will act to slow your descent coming down, but will only lift your cart up if you power it with redstone. How do I use Elevator Tracks?
Oh. You have to power it with redstone...Put them on a vertical wall in front of any normal horizontal track. Then put any normal horizontal track on the ledge above it. It will act to slow your descent coming down, but will only lift your cart up if you power it with redstone.
Also, it works as a ladder!
*Slow clap*Oh. You have to power it with redstone...
Don't worry about it; all of us have done that at some point or other.Aaaaaalrighty ... I feel like an idiot now.

How do i remove mystcraft ages that are no longer used.
I have made tons of the worlds and most of them are just crap.
I run my own server. And i am thinking that it will improve the speed and performance of the server if i clear out worlds never used.
I don't even think there will be any difference in startup, as I think dimensions are really only loaded as soon as someone visits them(or chunkloads them). So what is left is a bit of files taking up a bit of your hard drive, which is also pretty negligible as long as you havent explored large areas of the dimensions.Figure out the dimension number of each unused mystcraft age. Then go to your world file and delete the appropriate dimension files. As far as performance increase? Except for startup time, I doubt you'll see much change, since the chunks shouldn't be loaded unless someone left a chunkloader in it.
I think the area around the spawn of each world is always chunkloaded, like the Overworld. But, this may have changed.Figure out the dimension number of each unused mystcraft age. The spawn area of the "world" is yes. But not every dimension. This is where definitions get important.I think the area around the spawn of each world is always chunkloaded, like the Overworld. But, this may have changed.
Will something terrible happen if my laptop's memory percentage reaches 100% while MC is running? BSOD? Fatal crash?
My laptop has 4G of ram, and I allocate 2G to minecraft, but it soon goes up to 3G or above, and Task Manager says that the computer is then using ~95% of its total memory. I assume that upgrading to 8G, and thereby being able to allocate a bit more, such as 3-4G, would help here? Or is there another way, aside from removing some mods?
I just loaded up Thaumcraft 4.2 and Thaumic Tinkerer in a test instance, and have the automatic 1 block step up like wearing boots of the traveller. If I disable Thaumic Tinkerer, the effect goes away, but when I reactivate it, it returns, so I know it is something with Thaumic Tinkerer, however, I can't find any settings inside the config that make it do this. Any way to disable it?
So do I right click them on a warded jar or do they need to be in my inventory for the infusion stuf? Each one contains one point of one essence. For infusions and stuff like that.
