hi ive been using my ae system for serveral weeks and for some reason the other day when i ask it to craft advanced ae items such as advanced processor it appears in the crafting monitor for a second then dissapears, it does not craft the advanced processor or any of the materials used to make it. i dont understand why this is happening please help.
 
I've built an MFR laser drill for the first time and I'm having a little trouble processing all the ores coming out of it, not due to the quantity, but the variety. I've had to build 3 pulverizers with precision export buses and I still don't have enough space for all the ores I need to tell the system to process.

Is there a form of pipe or some method I can use to specify like... 30 types of ore to be automatically input into one block?
One machine, then stack Hoppers or Chutes on top of the machine. Now you have as many faces on the hoppers/chutes as you want to attach multiple ME export Bus and ME interfaces.

I had a stack of hoppers feeding a router feeding a 3x5 bank of machines in my 1.5 world. No Routers in Magic Farm 2, which my world is based on (heavily expanded), but I might add FZ at some point. You could alternate hopper, chest, hopper, chest for a larger capacity in the processing queue.

Is there a way to cause lightning strikes? I need Lightning Seeds for PneumaticCraft, and I can't find any. All I know is that lightning strikes have a chance to create seeds. I've tried covering an area with Dark Cloud from Natura, no luck so far. I could try making Twilight Forest portals, as I have a decent number of diamonds.

*Edit* 16 diamonds later, no seeds.

Yeah doing the exact same thing in most my builds, just sometimes having the machines situated on the machines and extracting from a chest with the hoppers.

(Iron chest is for autocrafting, Obsidian chests for bulk items. Autocrafting takes priority and one machine will only do autocrafting ensuring speedy crafting at any given time.)

The ExtraBees "Energetic Branch" (Exited, Energetic, Ecstatic) cause random lightning strikes around their hive. Great for upgrading Graviguns etc. :p

TF portal and Division Sigil will also cause lightning, but afaik it will only hit once and only hit the player.

The Blood Magic Ritual of Binding, or the Imperfect rituals of night or storm, always cause lightning. Not sure if it will hit an area, but you could also put a layer of grass above the rituals' position. There's also the basic spell system.

Also, MPS has the lightning generator attachment.
 
Is there any way of creating gold or turning other things into gold other than thaumcraft?
IC2(E) UU-Matter in older builds by crafting UU matter in the right pattern, experimental by scanning Gold ore.

Equivalent Exchange(not sure there are any present versions of that)

I have always used BC pipes and Autarchic gates to handle bees in and out of Alvearies/Apiaries due to it being rather robust yet simplistic, but I am being met with frequent vanishing princesses in Monster.

And no they were not Ignoble. All were Pristine.

Are all of the chunks through which the pipeline passes loaded? I think that if items are in one section of pipe, they tend to be a little buggy when crossing boundaries between sections during chunk loading. IIRC the same things happens with itemducts, so no help there.
You could look into using XU's transfer system.

Oh should have specified better. I meant when closing down the game(singleplayer). The entirety is chunkloaded so that is not an issue.
And all I am talking about is a wooden pipe pulling out the side of an apiary, down through a golden pipe, into a diamond pipe under the apiary piping drone and princess up and rest down. So it is all in the same chunk. It is simply that whenever a queen dies and the bees are pulled out just as I close or reopens the game, the bees seems to get lost. It is rare, but over time with a field full of bees you start to notice it.

Have never had this problem in earlier versions where I used the exact same solution.

I also didn't have this problem when I played on a server, only in SSP.

Good old ChickenChunks "Chunk loader" like I always has. I have done nothing out of the ordinary compared to what I did in say Unleashed.

Also you wouldn't see it as often on a server as it doesn't close down/reboots as often as you would be closing down a singleplayer world.

Drinking a source block of Destabilized Redstone (the TE kind, not some other mod's molten redstone) through an MFR straw will also smite you. Probably cheaper than diamonds, especially if you can find a Mystcraft age with lakes of the stuff.

Magic Crops, IC2 crops, or the MFR Laser Drill (I assume yellow foci help) would do it. Also, Mimichite or any of a number of ore multiplying mechanics (RotaryCraft Extractor comes to mind) would increase the yield from the gold ore that you already have.

Definitely a Buildcraft bug. I just made a simple loop with a wooden pipe and a chest, threw in a handful of planks then restarted the world.

The planks are now gone.

Hmm will try and do some testing with Itemducts instead then. Just looks horrible having to use covers everywhere to prevent them from connecting to each other when putting Apiaries side by side.

Pretty sure clear glass (Tinker's Construct) can be cut into covers and thing. While not completely invisible, it probably doesn't look as bad as opaque covers.

Yeah going to use glass of some sort at least for the "above ground" parts. But i SO wish there was a "pipe plug" equivalent for itemducts.

Or better: be able to wrench pipe-to-pipe connections the way we can with other connections.

Just made the same experiment but compared it to Itemducts:

Put a stack of cobble in each loop, logged a couple times and after that almost all the cobble was gone in the BC loop. Itemducts kept every single piece however, so looks like I am converting all my bee hives to Itemducts now :p Sigh...

Rather bad bug however, as we cannot trust the pipes with any valuable items any longer(Not that I was really using them all that much at all any more though).
