For Optifine specifically you hit, on the launcher, edit mods. Then press jar mods and hit add mod. Find the directory for the optifine version you download and hit open. An idea I've had in the back of my mind for a long time is limiting the number of items you can carry to equal your experience level... but that's not on topic for this thread. Personally I dislike maintenance. Whether it's easy to get food or not, having to do so all the time adds nothing to the gaming experience.
No chance you can pull out the disk the cans are stored on and use an IO port to dump everything except the cans back into the network? If you can get them isolated on a disk with not much else on it, you could just delete the disk and then use NEI to refund yourself the lost disk.FTB Ultimate 1.1.2 server and just updated from Mindcrack pack 8.3.2. Old XyCraft Aluminum cans got sucked into AE network and now FTB crashes every time when trying to open ME Access Terminal. Googling the error string soaryn.xycraft.world.item.ItemLiquidGenericContainer led to this thread and message. Solution is clear, delete the aluminum cans, but how do I do it? Where does AE store its inventory in server files or can it be done within the game? I am the server owner so I have full access, also running MCPC+.
edit: From pre-update backup the Aluminum can's name is Unknown and item id is 24276 and trying to /give it with MCPC+ & Essentials crashes the client. Dragging and dropping the existing alu cans from chests just deletes them so returning to a backup is an option although a painful one. Building that sweet 12xME Drive system full of 64k Storages took a while..
Here's my "simple" question for you all.
Is it possible to stop losing added mods to a pack when updating to another version? I've added some mods to one of the packs and when I update, I not only have to put the mod back in, but also change the configs back so that they stay compatible..
So in the past I have done a couple different power sources. Used multiple HV solar panels (tekkit), I recently made the 36 coke oven/5 boiler set-up which works amazingly well considering it's 100% self sustainable. Though it does cost a ton of Clay. I actually outputted the steam so I had 2 lots of 13 engines running to two tesseracts, one for my home system and processing machines, the other for Quarries. 13 so it supplies 104 MJ which will fully supply a Tesseract. The rest goes into power converters to HV EU to power a Mass Fab.
Anyway I was looking into creating another power source, maybe something green. I have a friend who uses Fermenters/Stills to create Biofuel to run a single liquid boiler. I was thinking of making a biofuel set-up, but I have no idea on how many of each machine and what kind of farm I would need to run to get an output. Just like hoe 36 ovens/4 solid/1 liquid is nicely balanced, how many greenery farms (?)/fermenters/stills would I need. I've never messed with this kind of stuff so I have no clue of working speeds of the forestry machines.
Side question: some people said sugar cane to plantballs is one of the best green sources. Would the Lilypad of fertility/Xychorium soild work with the old style forestry farms, something tells me the multiblock farms wouldn't so quite as well as the old ones consideringhow large the old ones can be, and they don't need Apatite.
Hi guys! How to destroy a block that is after 1? I`m doing mining machine and I need to place spot loader on the corner, but my machine will not work, because there is some blocks:

Can I take upgrades out of Gregtech machines? Also can I somehow see what upgrade got applied to a gregtech machine?
Thats months away tbh... and I dont know why they would just throw away bug support for a modpack that has most of the user base on it , for now at least.
