I have some trees that although can get harvested the saplings won't be planted.
Using these mods
upload_2015-11-22_16-26-23.png
What can I use to re-plant the saplings?
I know turtles can do it, but as I will often close the world making a script that won't break won't be easy.
I probably can make an custom npc to do it but I wondered if there is another obvious way I missed.
I use an tree farm from ancient warfare in case that matters and the tree in question is a fir from extra biomesxl.

Yeah I was specifically looking for microblocks compatibility, or to be more precise I was looking for funky locomotion compatibility. Apparently they are compatible with ducts though, so rather it becomes is there anything other then thermal dynamics and project red in infinity you can use to send pipes through frame blocks?
don't extra ultilites pipes work for this ?

I'm trying to be able to build and survive on Departed. I've read that mobs spawn on natural blocks. So, no dirt, cobble, stone (bricks included), etc. Chisel blocks, Holystone for example, should work on preventing mobs from spawning. But they're made of stone, so I'm having second thoughts. Any ideas?

Also: ghosts? If I make my walls out of unnatural blocks, do they not cross them, or am I screwed no mather what I do if I build underground?

Is it possible to breed the villagers so that I can get the Archivist Villager? The one from Mystcraft that sells pages and Books?

Easiest way is to capture a random villager in a MFR safari net and then autospawn them. Use the Trading post from ExU to quickly get an overview of which villagers you have spawned.

I like to have a lever or something hooked up to a method of killing them off when you are done and want to spawn a new batch.

Smelt them for emeralds, or sacrifice them at the Altar.

There's several that do. Hardcore Ender Expansion, Draconic Evolution, and GregTech all add their own islands, and that's just of the mods that I know of off the top of my head.

It's none of those, since I don't have any of them installed. I'd really like to disable it since it makes fighting the dragon a huge PITA.

In my last world, the End was normal, and the only mods I can think of that I installed in-between worlds are ChromatiCraft, Forbidden Magic, and Botania.

Did your server run before adding the mod that caused this crash?

If so, you need to update Forge. Forge is the mod that loads all your other mods from the Mods folder, so putting the Forge jar into your mods folder won't work- in fact, that's as likely as not to break things. Forge is a jar mod, so you'll have to install it in your minecraft.jar.

The trick is that you've already got an outdated version of Forge sitting in your minecraft.jar file. You may need to update Forge within the jar the old-fashioned way: Download the Forge jar file (NOT the installer application), open up both the server's minecraft.jar file and the Forge jar you just downloaded in a utility such as 7zip (or I think Windows' default file manager application can do it too), copy the contents of the Forge jar into the minecraft.jar overwriting files as needed, delete the META-INF folder in minecraft.jar if it's even there, and zip everything back up.

Do note that this process might cause problems of its own, since rather than installing Forge in a clean jar, you're overwriting an old version of Forge that's already there. It your server starts up normally, you're good; if not, you'll have to get your hands on a clean vanilla Minecraft server jar and repeat the process.

Also note that there's probably a MUCH more efficient way of updating Forge on a server; I just don't know what it is.

Thank you very much for responding so far.

Sorry I don't understand much of what you're saying. The minecraft.jar you mean is the minecraft_server.1.7.10?
Also the forge would be the forge-1.7.10-10.13.4.1558-1.7.10-universal?

Thank you in advance.

Download an updated forge version and install the server, and delete any olds versions.
