Yea... gratuitous cheesy Halloween mint game action.

Did you know the celts called this day "Samhain" (pronounced saw-wain")?

I love the Harry Potter franchise. But I hate theatres. Who knows maybe I'll brave the theatre for this one (I did for the last two movies)

Ever wonder how they'd make a blast ended skrewt?

Does "states a falsehood when preceded by its quotation" indeed state a falsehood when preceded by its quotation?

Math!

x+(3^2)*9*√(100)=x+81
x+9*9*√(100)=x+81
x+81*√(100)=x+81
x+81*10=x+81
x+810=x+81
810 = 81
False

Did RealKC know that equation had no solution when he posted it?

Probably.

Was I the only other person that did an eyesight solving, and figured there was something fishy in this equation?

No idea.

Probably.

Was I the only other person that did an eyesight solving, and figured there was something fishy in this equation?
I did notice that there was the same amount of x on both sides of that equation, followed by me partway computing the constant term on the left side (okay, 3^2 is 9, and 9 * 9 is 81, which is the same number as the 81 on the other side... wait wat?), followed by the realization that I could've just subtracted x from both sides from the beginning and been done with it.

Protip, KC: Each side of an equation can be thought of as a function, and solving the equation is equivalent to finding where the functions on either side of the equals sign intersect. If there's the same amount of x on both sides, you've got two parallel lines that either will never intersect (if the constant terms are different, as in the case of your equation) or intersect everywhere, meaning that they're exactly the same curve (if the constant terms are the same).

So if you want your equation to actually have a solution, make the non-constant terms different.
(although this doesn't always work if your functions are more complicated than straight lines; x^2 + 1 = -x^2 - 1 has no solution either)

Will RealKC accept this protip?
