982 made me think of some of the flat world challenge maps on YouTube. Some really clever and/or annoying combinations are possible. Like having the whole top layer be saplings and see how long you can survive before ending up inside a tree. Doomed.

994. Build your base in the Deep Dark. With vast tendrils of imported magma blocks for style.
995. Extra points if you have an ice cream shop on top with every flavor. Maybe that's why the dark is so angry ... a world with no ice cream?

I'd also replace the TNT skin to look almost like Stone

and make sure its the tnt kind that explodes when punched, and set the fuse time to as small as possible. Maybe increase damage as well while we are at it?

999. If I haven't already said this:

Recreate the original Diablo using different dimensions for the levels - so Nether for the Caverns, Deep Dark with structures for the Catacombs, maybe something Witchery or Thaumcraft based for the Hell levels.

EDIT: if I HAVE already said it, an alternative would be to create Heretic in Minecraft - weapons and all!

I finally got a decent Rockhounding setup running ... I think was on the list about 300 items back.
