Try redownload the update, you may have caught it while it was still syncing to the launcher.
I'm still having the issue after redownloading
Edit: Okay I set resource crops to true and its working now. Thanks for the help!

WARNING!

I'm playing another pack that uses Agricraft 1.4.5 (the one that Regrowth just updated to) and the WEEDS setting does not appear to affect weeds spawning. Weeds will spawn on cropsticks without seeds even when set to 'False'! Watch your cross-crops carefully to avoid disaster!

something else odd happened after updating to .8.5

I had already done most of the mekanism quests, but suddenly some of the quest were marked as 'solved-but-not-claimed' again. I could hit claim reward but got nothing (which is good so I didn't have to void the rewards).
Oh that's cos I added reputation rewards to most of them, so that's what you're claiming there. I was originally going to have another rep trigger for the fusion reactor quests but decided not to in the end.
also, doses of *.json files that throw errors
huh?

I've been testing agricraft stuff quite a bit since updating to this version, haven't seen a single weed.

I'm throwing together a 0.8.6 currently which will basically be 0.8.5 with a workaround for those updating from 0.8.4 to be able to update without issue.

I've been testing agricraft stuff quite a bit since updating to this version, haven't seen a single weed.

I've seen it happen twice on cross-crops in the other pack, and another person using that pack has confirmed it. I'm setting up a controlled experiment right now (an isolated patch of regular farmland covered in single crops).

EDIT: That didn't take long. At least half of the single-crops have sprouted weeds. Someone might want to repeat this in Regrowth.

Forestry farms can farm crops. But you have to set it to 'Manual' nd use 'Orchard' configuration'. It doesn't place dirt, or break blocks, which is exactly what you want. Much faster than robots, plus it doesn't drop entity items. And they can be gigantic. From what I've seen, the forestry farms in this pack can be bigger than in standard forestry. Yes, it is manual at the start, but trust me it is ell worth it once you have it set up.

According to Forestry's wiki, the size of the farm you pictured is possible in standard Forestry.

How did you configure the farm? Normally, Wheat, Carrots and Potatoes, Netherwart, Pumpkin and Melons, and Sugar cane all take different Electron tubes to configure. Does it just treat all Agricraft Cropped plants for the orchard or do you still need to configure for different plants?

manyy AgriCraft-blockproperties files link to blocks/crops that are obsolete and thus throws errors.

OK, something really weird is happening with our Regrowth Server ver 0.8.5.
Maybe someone here knows what's going on.
Our fml-server-latest.log grows in half a day to the size of about 1,5 GBs

Those are the entries getting spammed over and over again in the log:
[Server thread/DEBUG] [Enhanced Inventories/]: Checking ores at 7
[Server thread/DEBUG] [Enhanced Inventories/]: Checking ores at 0
[Server thread/DEBUG] [Enhanced Inventories/]: Checking ores at 1
[Server thread/DEBUG] [Enhanced Inventories/]: Checking ores at 2
[Server thread/DEBUG] [Enhanced Inventories/]: Checking ores at 3
[Server thread/DEBUG] [Enhanced Inventories/]: Checking ores at 4
[Server thread/DEBUG] [Enhanced Inventories/]: Checking ores at 5
[Server thread/DEBUG] [Enhanced Inventories/]: Checking ores at 6
[Server thread/DEBUG] [Enhanced Inventories/]: Checking ores at 7
[Server thread/DEBUG] [Enhanced Inventories/]: Checking ores at 8

At the rate of about 250 per second. What is happening and why is it happening?

Just got back from a month long minecraft hiatus to find regrowth has updated. normally i would dive head first and update my server straight away but looking at the tread i might hold off for a little bit.

Sounds interesting guess i'll clean up my 0.8.4 world in preparation

Same as TPL, I haven't seen any weeds. I've left many cross crops around for mutation, everything seems business as usual.

What's the stance on updating individual mods ahead of time? I saw forbidden magic got updated, but there's a later version that I wanted to try out and it doesn't seem to change too much.

To work with cropped plans you need it set to "Manual Orchard".

Yes. It treats all plants on crops as the orchard. I have a massive multifarm with all my crops on it. wheat, nether wart, cinderpearls, water artichokes, one of each botania flower, a couple chestnut trees, all the essences, everything! it is auto-harvesting them just fine. just put the plant on top of whatever soil is required.

another thing i learned that may help you is that you can have multiple hatches/valves/gearboxes if you need them. It was just more convenient for me to have one hatch to input fertilizer and one to export items, for example. Also, if you find that your farm is using a TON of water, you can help by making it rain occasionally. I opted for the weather controller from Forestry and the iodine charges, but it took a bit of progressing in bees. I'm sure there are other methods from other mods.

There have been times when it was recommend. I have at various times updated botania ahead of the pack. You do need to be aware that if you change your mods and something breaks you may be on your own for fixing it.

As I recall forbidden magic doesn't have much in the way of changes so you should be safe. Check the minetweaker scripts. If the scrip is as long as Mek's I'd be wary. If it is shorter you should be fine.

Last point. The botania version immediately after the one in the pack changes alot of things. Forbidden magic mods botania. Make sure that the new FM doesn't require the new botania. If it does take a long look at the botania change log. Lots of changes, mostly for the better but it will break all of my AE automation. (But it will let me get rid of the annoying constant clicking from my runic alter setup)

The quest that gives you aluminum seeds is not detecting my limestone. It's identified as Limestone from Chisel 2 but I haven't used a chisel to modify the stone. What gives?

When I try various stuff in my Vat it can get stuck and I can't get it out. For example, a flint pick and some cobble.

I have achieved gold and iron seeds. I can make a Minecraft iron pick but it doesn't seem to break a vat. That might be the way to get stuff out or move my vats. What do you recommend for my next pick after flint? I'd also line to mine nether ores. Should I endeavor to make a smeltery next?

There are two limestones in the pack - one that looks like cobblestone, and one that looks like smooth stone, only whiter. The smooth one (found near/in the water) is the one needed.

You have to use Tinker's Construct to make tools, so yes - a Smeltery is your next step.

I don't really expect anyone to know, but I'm just curious about something. I finally set up a system for auto-harvesting crops (Harvesting Golems, picked up by hopperhocks in a chest, pipes to a drawer controller with drawers attached) but for some reason, the snowballs are disappearing. I've watched, they are clearly going into the system when the golem harvests the snowbell, but when they hit the controller, it disappears. Is this something with the controller/drawers set-up, or is it just being weird?
