Was removed, as well as Astral Silver, Knight metal, Enderium. Odd thing is, I still have my steeleaf Drill, but there is no more steeleaf. So there is that. Removing certain metals left many holes in thaum, and I am not going to reset all that research just to fix it.
So far it all works, does boot up faster.

Also my base is being forced loaded, I am not sure how. Keep coming back to no energy and im the only one playing
I'm even more curious as to what will or would happen if you disassemble it into an 100% return rate.

So. Energypacks seem to do nothing, well.. They can be used as a battery but not to charge any gregtech tools. Not a bad choice for batterys, but I am worried what the voltage for Advanced Packs and Ultimate packs will be. Energypacks I think are 512? So I would assume the other two would be EV? Making Advanced Packs seems like a waste unless you are doing a jetpack, just go from Energypacks right into Ultimate Packs. 30m a pack for 1 slot over 10m for a Lap Crystal, early on thats pretty good
Silly question...Have you tried right clicking with your GT tools while wearing the energypack?

omg that worked >.>; Well I still was hoping to recharge my jetpack too but, I'm stuck just making the better ones

I still think Pack batteries beatout any normal battery till you get much further in unless I am missing something? (Silicon age, working with HV, Using Energy Crystals, Sodium HV packs, and Energy packs as EU storage)

Does anybody know of any good island seeds? I want to create a new world and want to start on a medium to big sized island.

Hey, bit of a noob sorry if my question is stupid. Can you use any iron ore to grow ferru plants. Ex. Can I use brown/yellow limonite? or does it have to be normal iron ore?

Looks like Vinteum got nullified just like Lanthanum. Unlike Lanthanum, Vinteum is very useful and important in this modpack!

Oddly, you can still use it in its current state, according to NEI. Gregtech just doesn't know what it is.

Researching the Infusion Alter now crashes the client when you attempt to view it, needing Vinteum. Well, I will need to wait for a patch to get them new boots.

I am really sorry for the problems the newest pack version (3.2.13) has. There is a lot that happened within GregTech (internally) and its fairly hard to catch them all in one go. I am especially sorry for the problem with HQM, I really recommend you to either not update, or if you did update, just disable HQM for the time being. I appreciate all the reports that you all have submitted. I will try to get fix done as soon as possible, so you can enjoy the pack to its fullest.

IF I will not be able to fix HQM stuff I will consider either removing it, or transfering the quest data to Better Questing (which will unfortunately cause loss of all the quest progress you have done)

Pls Keep the quest in anyway. I really like the way it is I am new to gregtech and IC2 and it really ist helping me to get the mod sortet xD.

Could we just re-enable vinteum? That seems to be the only real major issue. The rest don't offer much (I honestly was fine with loading times). I can produce the GT.Name viteum crystal but I cannot make the Runic matrix

When I try giving 730:2, it says this dosent exist

Opped myself and grabbed one, then threw whats usually needed to craft it into trash

Thanks for all the work you put into this, Jason. It's really appreciated.

I've especially enjoyed this particular world. My list of GT firsts in this run includes (in no particular order) a vacuum freezer, dark steel, large turbines, pyrolyse ovens, ebf with nichrome coils, titanium, HV. I also got tungsten from clusters but that feels cheaty after the last update removed that route. I've used a large (for me) chain of machines to produce the plastics from oilsands, and here's my osmium from chalcopyrite chain ... http://imgur.com/a/ooLCC

Honestly the load times wasn't all THAT bad.. Sure it took a few mins but it was fine once ya got in. Sure it loads a lot faster now, less than 2mins now but doing this left holes. Some of the materials didn't matter as it wasn't used much from what I saw (Only silicon age so far). I'm all for keeping the pollution and bringing back metals that breaks quests/research from being missing

I'm sure you will fix it. I don't have any problem because i did not update to polution version. But the quests was the best thing that ever happened to this pack because lot of people don't know how to use gregtech, so a quest book is very very great. Plsease don't remove the questbook

I really don't want to remove the questbook... I spent SO much time on that. So worst case scenario: Will transfer it to BQ.

I am currently waiting for GT to fix the issue with materials, because I have a feeling that it is that. Someone mentioned text with only alphanumeric, but I am 99% certain that I havent used any special characters in quests.... Well if you don't count apostrophe, but that will not be the issue, because the crashes and bad stuff happened in last pack updates...

Thanks Jason for all the work you are doing. The quests are important to me as well I really can tell and appreciate all the work you put in to it. If it comes down to users having to edit some files and deal with the completed quest flashing that would be ok. Most of the folks who like GregTech are willing to do that sort of thing. You can always refer people to the forums in a chat popup.
