[1.7.10] Boundless Expanse-A different take on FTB Infinity

    This pack aims to unify all the mods in the pack. This idea came from Infinity Expert mode as from people on the FTB subreddit requesting an easier version of Infinity Expert mode.

    Pack Code: BoundlessExpanse

    We are also on curse voice

    The main features of the pack:

    End Game Items (e.g Quarries) Cost More

    All tech mods will be integrated with each other
    Only one power system RF (Excluding magic systems)

    All Magic mods will be integrated:
    With the "Good" (Good as in kind) magic mods being linked
    and the "Evil" magic mods being linked.

    Thaumcraft acts neutral and is optional in most cases

    Plans to have an easier recipe for certain items
    you are able to use "loot" items for an easier crafting recipe
    these are obtained from places like the erebus and twilight forest.
    (This should encourage exploration)

    Not including tinkers construct
    not because its a bad mod (I love it)
    It's not included because it makes other items redundant
    Replacements for certain tinkers items will be included (e.g Hammers).


    Good Side:

    -Aura Cascade
    -Magical Crops (Endgame)

    Evil Side:

    -Blood Magic
    -Ars Magica (Endgame)

    ...wow... this looks balanced. Really balanced. I like it. Question, are creative items craftable? That was the main draw of infinity expert, and it was a super endgame goal. Maybe add more than infinity offered, such as the creative jetpack. Just not the cache, that would likely break everything.

    There not currently but it's a possibility. I have plans adding more tech mods like Draconic Evolution first then I'll think about how I would add creative items.

    Been waiting on this awhile. Integration without massively insane resource cost/microcrafting for everything is an absolutely fantastic idea. good luck!

    Hey, been waiting for this a while, great to see it released :)
    A few things tho:
    1. The ender quarry costs the same as normal mode, might want to change it since the BC quarry is more expensive.
    2. Food mods, any plans on adding some food mods? We are kinda limited on food right now, Pam's harvestcraft would be a good option.

    I don't currently have any plans on adding a foods mod but I'll give it some thought.
    I know about the ender quarry and I was debating on making it harder. With the buildcraft quarry you get the advantage of upgrading it to a digital miner so there is a perk to making it.

    I have an idea for the ender quarry:
    BC Quarry -> Ender Quarry(it can be upgraded) -> Digital Miner(very advanced, a lot of settings)

    Edit: make the ender quarry recipe be the actual digital miner and the digital miner recipe be:
    Ender quarry in the midle, electric chest on the side, inventory panel from Ender IO, Resonant Machine Frame, Steel Casin and bedrockium

    Instead of adding some really unbalanced overpowered mod that is aimed to provide eng-game rewards but fails and gives them mid game, how about adding Avaritia that actually gives end game items that are obtainable at end game?
    You get some cool stuff, more 'tech' and an actual end game objective!

    I don't have any plans to add Avaritia. Draconic Evolution will be edited anyway to make sure it IS balanced with the rest of the pack.

    I should mention that I am developing a skyblock version of the pack. (Because we like to ride the trend)

    It's in early development, I have to flesh out the tech tree before I can actually start work. It's not gonna have Ex Nihilo or the like, it's a completely custom early-game.

    I notice that the Erebus is in there. Is it required/would the pack break if I removed it? I don't have anything against it other than the critters that the mod adds are... a little too well-designed, and I'm not fond of finding them in the Nether.

    You may get a few script errors but nothing game breaking.
