And, Azanor has now released version 4.1.0! I myself won't be upgrading immediately, because I have a few things to tie up in my current world, but it looks pretty promising.

Note however, that 4.1.0 has not been retargeted to Minecraft 1.7.x, it's still based off 1.6.4. I find this unsurprising, since aside from the technical challenges, the mod will need a fair bit of rebalancing for the new biome scheme and other changes.
 
Could you actually post when you're going to do some work on it? I mean it's cool if you don't feel like doing it, just it's weirdly hypnotic and awesome watching someone else type.
 
Ok i found a hungry node, but its eating up the environment. What is the range on that thing and can i only feed it by placing blocks around it?

does it have to be in a jar to trow stuff into it? i tried without jarring the node, but it just drops it on the ground and nothing happens.

You don't throw it at the jar. Just make an obsidian box around it, and then make a hole to throw it through. And what you're saying, you mean it doesn't suck in any items? That IS odd.
