Hmm, perhaps I'm missing something again, but there are recipes to get all the vanilla saplings except spruce. Now, I've never used witchery before, but by the looks of it to get the attuned stone for the distillery you need essence only gotten by processing spruce...

Also, what's the point of jetpacks if we can't craft the dynamos to make them? I know why the dynamo's are disabled, but...

It appears I messed up the metadata for the Spruce saplings. Anywhere it's Jungle should be Spruce. Thank you for catching all these bugs. Next version it should be fixed. If you want to edit this yourself, go into RunningRed/minecraft/scripts/set1.zs and find the line
Code: 
var ssap = <6:3>;
and change it to
Code: 
var ssap = <6:1>;

Once again, thank you all so much for putting up with all the bugs I've included. They should all be fixed when the next version is released.

Use mutandis on some saplings. It will cycle through the vMC and Witchery plants at random, eventually getting to spruce (no idea if this works in this pack, haven't had the time to try it yet).

I tweaked the file as suggested, and it does work, but only if I make a new, randomly generated world. Don't really feel like starting over at the moment, but it does work for the record.

Don't know if the minetweaker hotfix you posted included the osmium recipe or not, but I still couldn't find it, looking up the recipe for the dust, ore and ingots. Don't really wish to spend 16 diamonds on a rock crusher soley to get gravel without using blood, but if push comes to shove...

Also, how am I supposed to get emeralds, when putting the diamond in the altar will turn it into a weak blood orb long before it turns it into an emerald?[DOUBLEPOST=1407029579][/DOUBLEPOST]

Psst, you need to get the essence from spruce saplings to make the mutandis...

Osmium will be added in the next update, worlds do not need to be reset for Minetweaker changes to be changed, and I'll fix the Emerald recipe.

I've just played the modpack and I can say I'm having a lot of fun with it. Brilliant concept, good execution, but bugs everywhere.

what is public beta but bugs :p. We caught most of the fatal ones in the last release. Then a whole new crop showed up :confused:

Me again this time with some suggestions.
Firstly could you consider making the mob kills for souls of the damned all into one task. Some people (esp. me for some reason) are hated by the rng
Secondly due to low resources on skyblock style maps tinkers(igauna)tweaks will allow us to get more from our tools

So...No access to coal for the inscription quest, and no nether quartz or applied energistics quartz to make the storage cells for applied energistics. So that's the life path stalled out on me, time to reroll to check out the death path...

Here we are again... So, apparently you can't get ferrous (nickel) or sugar (due to no sugar canes and no bees). More spawning in of items, yay...

My guess is you're supposed to get sugar canes via Witchery, although that takes netherwart I'm pretty sure. Ferrous is probably another of the metals like Osmium that he has to fix in the next version. Unless you get some of the metals from Thaumcraft transmutations, I forget which ones you can do that with.

As in get sugar canes via mutandis? guessing I would need a water source block near the transmuted plant?
