When did I say that? I thought I fixed that anyway by including the patches folder in the download anyway.

K, now I changed the guide for multimc in the op to say copy all the files into the instance folder instead of just minecraft and patches to make it clearer and hopefully easier to get right.
 
Update:
-fixed it so you can copy all the files from the download into a new 1.6.4 multimc instance and it will just work.
-new dimension: the choosing grounds- allows you to actually switch to a different faction after your first choice, unlike the previous versions where I thought it would work with repeatable quests! (didn't)
-updated the questbook according to the above change.
 
I did write a guide for how to play it with MultiMC though (really easy). It's in the first post of this thread.

I just got a pm back from the 3rd Party Modpack Team saying my pack is now on the launcher with the pack code i chose (Ummmm)!!! :D
 
Erm, Im trying to activate the pack, but it says 'Exception reading modpack file: com.sun.org.apache.xerces.internal.impl.io.MalformedByteSequenceException: Invalid byte 1 of 1-byte UTF-8 sequence.' and doesnt add the pack

I just tried it myself 5 minutes ago... seemed to work fine. That might mean you didn't type the code in correctly? It's "Ummmm" minus the quotes.
Edit: do you mean it doesn't download correctly or it gives that error when using the pack code?
Edit2: well now it's crashing. hmmm looking at my crash log now b/c that one line doesn't really help much...

asked 3rd party modpack team about it... Response: "We had a few issues uploading tonight, should be fixed with in a few hours. Sorry for the inconvenience." meh, ok. Sorry 'bout the false alarm then.

The pack works without crashing upon launch now! You have to delete the folder in ftb for it first though.
 
hey if I create a new world does it still have the same map if not might want to put up a download or add lockdown

The download for the map is in the op. It just includes the pack in the same zip. (zip > minecraft > saves > it's a map [the map]).
 
UGGGGH IM SO CONFUSED i just started did all your quest then did the tech choosing grounds quest and nothing happend then i did the other ones im so confused where do i go??????????

there is myscraft book you get open it and click the black square[DOUBLEPOST=1408925113][/DOUBLEPOST]Also does the tech one have clay and the nature and magic one have iron

There is clay and sand in the tech one, just look in Teh Mines (mineshaft close to spawn). Magic and nature have oreberry bushes as quest rewards, but no, they don't have iron ore.

Do you mean the one before the 3 choices (age 84, the Choosing Grounds)? Do you mean it doesn't follow you to the next dimension? (it's supposed to not follow you.)
