[1.7.10] Regrowth - A WIP HQM pack - Now Listed!

Every few minutes my harvester golems stop working, they still run around, move their arms and such, but nothing is being dropped and the crops are still at full maturity. It then works again, though often only for some plants, and then doesn't work at all again. Any idea?

It's not showing up at all, not even the half flashing that's usually there if you don't have enough vis.

Is there something special required to craft essentia buffers? I have the items in the Arcane Worktable according to both NEI and the Thaumonomicon, and I do have the research required. Also is there some easier way than running around the word looking for Hobgoblins to get the Kobdolite Ingot?

Fair point, though Jadedcat didn't specify that.

    FTB - Curse Update

As the new client would be written from scratch this does not apply. .deb/.rpm/.whatever won't really fit for modpacks. From what I gather there are many more features planned than what would be possible with standard packages and I really hope they plan something more than a "crap-looking...

    FTB - Curse Update

Agreeing mostly, the only real reason I'm in this discussion is because I'm annoyed by the people saying "Linux support is hard/costly". We're probably going to start adding support for whatever Curse does to MultiMC as soon as it's available, so I don't really care about the "Don't leave linux...

@FyberOptic My point isn't really about that, I'm probably not going to use the Curse launcher at all, and I barely use the current FTB launcher (I use MultiMC). My point is I think it would be better for Curse to add linux support, and that it isn't as hard/has the problems some people say.

About the API, would there be stuff in place to prevent 3rd-parties from accessing it? It's far less then 4%, there aren't any real cons to using a cross-platform toolkit, and amongst the pros there are stuff like only having to write the code once. Kaelten brought up one valid reason for not...

I'm also very interested in more info about what kind of API we can await, as well as a hint on when we can await it (before Curse launcher, after, 10years?)

    FTB - Curse Update

The new Curse launcher won't have anything do to with the game, so it won't care about offline or not.

Again, which ones? You'd have to do something terribly wrong to get a noticeable (probably even measurable) difference.

    It is opensource.

    FTB - Curse Update

I can see the point in switching toolkit being hard. I still believe it'd save time/money in the long run, as you only have to write the code once and not multiple times, plus you can benefit from the other Qt stuff. Of course hard for me to say for sure, but I'd also say getting started with Qt...

I can just continue: Use Qt, or some similar toolkit. If the others have complaints about it I'll be happy to help you answer questions. On a somewhat related note; do you see the possibility of having the new client be opensource? Also; have you considered building the new client on top of...

I've given you some several times: Use this P.S. I appreciate that you're open like this though, even though I'm less happy about the info.

Yes, but again, who said Qt is so much slower than other toolkits? (also you brought up the python thing)

Source for Qt being slower/more CPU intensive than something else? You are comparing apples and oranges; Qt is C++, so it cannot be compared to Python (except if you use Qt bindings for Python of course).
