Because your advice is worthless. Obviously, if I can't connect to a server there is a connection issue. It wasn't directly due to connection in traditional sense either, it was simply a software malfunction.

No, my computer does not "need a break"... It's a brand new, clean machine that gets restarted daily. I maintain my operating system and do not allow any bloatware to infect my hard drive. There is nothing I can gain from restarting my computer other than my connection issue with this server.

It's not my server.. I am connecting to a friend's server. The server is always up and running. Nobody else has issues connecting to it. I am able to connect to it sometimes.

I never said it was any more important than anyone else's. Just because I bump doesn't mean people have to reply. As far as your actual advice, if I was content with restarting my computer, I wouldn't have made the thread in the first place...
