    FTB Horizons: Daybreaker Discussion

Hmmmm... anyone know what types of lights I can get in the pack? Preferably ones which wouldn't look out of place in a modern military base. Trying to figure out my options for lighting, but Galacticrafts version requires Desh, and I haven't found the tier 2 rocket yet, while Electric...

    FTB Horizons: Daybreaker Discussion

Hmmmmm... other than modular, are there any other powered armours in the pack? I'm trying to work out what armour to use in stead of modular. Being protected from some things but not others is rather annoying and I could do with switching to something else, at least until I have more resources...

    FTB Horizons: Daybreaker Discussion

Yes, but it requires a nether star. The armour also only protects you from certain enemies depending on what modules you have installed.

Pretty sure modular armour has that in. *checks* Yep, Modular armour allows you to add them both as modules. As well as a load of other things.

    FTB Horizons: Daybreaker Discussion

Hmmmm... anyone else having problems with a lack of OreDict support related to Immersive Engineering? I tried to cut up some silver blocks, but it seems they were the wrong sort of silver for panelling (I wanted a futuristic underground base feel) but the Immersive Engineering blocks were not...

    FTB Horizons: Daybreaker Discussion

I found I had a problem with Progressive Automation. A crash which meant I had to go in using MCEdit to remove the offending chopper. Not sure what happened. May have been the jewel axe I had in there breaking.

What cool little thing have you discovered today?

It's actually half that for a night time. Only 80 minutes night time. And day time. I waited it out, actually. Didn't take too long before the sun came up and all those mobs disappeared. Then went for a wander, and discovered a moon village where I grabbed some glowstone torches. Found a Moon...

What cool little thing have you discovered today?

Today, or rather, at the end of yesterdays session, I discovered that the Moon (from Galacticraft) has an over 2 hour night cycle! After landing there. In the middle of said night cycle. At least I brought along equipment to make oxygen. I also discovered that torches extinguish themselves...

    FTB Horizons: Daybreaker Discussion

Hmmm... when I upgraded to 1.10 (mostly because I realized I needed the oil for galacticraft), I found that I got a massive load of missing Ids, mainly from Emasher Core. I admit that I did have ComputerCraft installed as well, and Mekanism on latest version. Still, rather annoying to loose...

What Pack would you recommend? Been away from the game for a while

Depends on your specs and what you are looking to get out of a pack. For instance, Infinity IIRC is a pretty good all round pack, with the old staples of Buildcraft, Industrial Craft, Thermal Expansion, Thaumcraft ect. Of course, it is quite intensive on your machine if you don't have a good...

Not sure where to start... [Infinity Modpack]

First, probably the single most important mod of them all, is NEI. That screen on the right you get when you open any inventory? That's NEI, or Not Enough Items. This is likely to be the mod you'll use the most, though it has no items in game. At the bottom of the screen is an area to enter...

What cool little thing have you discovered today?

Pulverisers can pulverize gregtech crushed metals. Takes a massive amount of power compared to the steam hammer, but has the chance of getting an extra dust.

    FTB Resurrection Ore Gen

Resurrection has Gregtech, which has a different ore gen. There are fewer ore deposits, but they are massive, and have up four(? I think) ores in them. You can get upwards of a hundred ore blocks in one vein. Then you have the occasional single block on its own.

A moral dilemma - was I right or wrong

To state my view: I would say ownership of the ores should belong to whoever revealed (or found, in cases where caves are involved) them first. If you have a quarry (or other automated mining device) which is running and revealing ores, then those ores ought to be yours, since you did all the...

    Denpipes Help

click on a sapling with a force rod I believe. Haven't got around to using force yet myself, but according to the tutorial I've watched that's how you do it.
