When I try to launch the modpack, I get an error message that says, Java Version: 1.7.0_67 sorted as: 1.7.0_67 64 Bit Java at : /Library/Internet Plug-Ins/JavaAppletPlugin.plugin/Contents/Home/bin/java

Does anyone know how to fix this error? I assume that my computer, (I use a Mac) is sorting my current Java version as the 64 bit version. How should I proceed?

Thank you.

Progressive automation is said to be awesome early game. A bit troublesome with piping through.
Their generator is probably the cheapest one ever.
Particle Physics have an 100% maintenance+condition+requirement free and cheap power source: Infinite Emitter (unless the recipe have been removed, which it definitively should because that block is definitively not supposed to be craftable or I missed something.)
The world is beautiful. Make sure to use the RWG option ;D
EE3 is still 99.9% broken.
If you're familiar with Mekanism and Galacticraft, be prepared to be disappointed. (a bit) (maybe not)
There is a toolbox item. Very useful.
Like "challenges"? Try the Endergenic generator.
Quartz Furnace = duplication machine (sort of)
Java 8

I would second progressive automation. Its good early to mid. Wooden generator puts out 20K rf. Stone 40K. Havent gotten to iron. Chopper works pretty good as do farmer and miner. Being able to semi automate early on the cheap is pretty cool.
Drawers are an awesome storing and sorting mod.
Theres a generator from Quantum that burns anything. Example, cobblestone. I think you see where I'm going.

I found I had a problem with Progressive Automation. A crash which meant I had to go in using MCEdit to remove the offending chopper. Not sure what happened. May have been the jewel axe I had in there breaking.

Get a computer.
As far as I know, Java 8 required. (or just remove a useless mod, Matter overdrive.)

Can't really get a PC right now. Java 8 isn't supported by minecraft for macs yet so now I can't play any modpack that I have. (Regrowth, Blast Off, Horizons Daybreak, Infinity) Removing Matter Overdrive did absolutely nothing either.

Hmmmm... anyone else having problems with a lack of OreDict support related to Immersive Engineering? I tried to cut up some silver blocks, but it seems they were the wrong sort of silver for panelling (I wanted a futuristic underground base feel) but the Immersive Engineering blocks were not accepted. Just tried to make some Redstronic stuff with Electrum, and that Electrum does not seem to be supported either.

Can't get a pc? At least try to get windows on it ;D

That's the last thing I'd recommend to fix a pack issue. No point in switching to a meh OS for that.
Wait, jaded and eya left?

But they were my favorite members of the team :c

Yeah, they work for Curse now. There's been a major shift in team members and their responsibilities since then.

Pretty sure modular armour has that in.
*checks* Yep, Modular armour allows you to add them both as modules. As well as a load of other things.

Which OS would you say is better? I'll burn you as a witch if you say Mac OSX, and if you point to Linux I will point to the lack of user friendliness/lack of support for more mainstream programs (which is, no matter how much you wish otherwise, an issue).

I'd say none. OSX is nice due to being Linux based, but it's Apple. Linux is nice because, well, it's Linux, but as you said, lack of support is the issue. Being user friendly isn't a huge thing for me, but the lack of support is. Windows is inefficient and bug filled (thanks to the updates in my experience), but has the most support.

Personally I use blood magic bound armour with the haste sigil in, and a master blood orb so it doesn't use lp.
