[1.7.10] Survival industry [rotarycraft based tech]

The worldgen patches are only guaranteed to be within 30 blocks (for most ores, redstone actually has a 10 block radius, due to the vertical nature of the veins: even knowing what chunk they're in they're still hard to find). So what I do is I use bonemeal on the area where I found the flowers...

Alright, I'll add that to my notes. Likely won't get to it for a while due to a more important project.

Right, but what is it you want to display? e.g. "[Season] [day]/[season total]"?

Sure, but how useful is "Summer: Day 80"?

I'd be happy to have it provide more info if I had a good idea of what info would actually be transparent. That is, how should I display it, knowing that the year length is variable (based on the config)?

I did it manually myself for all the crops I modify. I already have the context, I don't need to request it. And I can certainly add that API call, but it's more along the lines of needing to know what "indoor" means. I need a use-case to determine what kinds of API methods I need to add.

Oh I know you like it, Reteo. ;) As for compatibility with RoC, I'm not sure it's possible. As I said before, there's no context-sensitive version of biome.getTemp() or biome.getRain(); that is, one that passes a world and xyz. I'm at the point at which I don't want to deal with Reika's API as...

Sorry you don't like it. It was an attempt to give some life to the world and a lot of the problems you have are due to the fundamental underlying nature of vanilla in how it handles various things. For example, the chunk boundary color differences is due to the fact that: 1) Vanilla assumes...

Feed The Beast - Redpower and 1.5.x

What Keybounce said above and the easiest way to verify would be to start a new FTBU creative world, give yourself: writing desk book binder ink vial paper (64 sheets) leather (Mystcraft tab) notebook (the one named "creative spawned" in the tooltip) And a second, empty, notebook And place...

ModJam! A MCP long weekend Mod Making Contest

Damn, I so wish I'd seen this a week ago. Only heard about in the last hour (friend going, "Modjam winners? There was a contest?" and pointing it out to me) Because HOLY SH*T I've been busy. Here's the biggest chunk of what I've done, complete with screenshots, pseudo-code (written weeks...
