    Are there currently any plans to change anything else regarding world-gen in the near future? (ike PC oil, bluepower marble, and sugarcane in this update) I only ask so I can determine whether or not I want to wait before venturing out and spawning new chunks with these changes. Thank you!

    I'm back with results of my test. I manually dug 9 core samples spaced 48 blocks from one another. All of them had different ore veins!* *Two strange results, though.     I found some really useful info for mining! According to PaladinOne, "The actual algorithm spawns one vein of ore in the center of every 3x3 chunk square". I theorize that spacing core samples 3 chunks (48 blocks) away from one another would guarantee a vein. I'm going to test this.

    What's my options for steady food source in early game? I'm finding that cooked meats are severely nerfed in this mod pack.     Thank you, Pyure and Jason. To all who are discussing BoP, I have a question. It would appear from the wiki that BoP adds a bunch of gems and cool items to craft. Won't this throw off the balancing in this mod pack? For example, some gem armor (amethyst) from BoP is better than diamond armor.
